6 weeks mark
So, today is my 6 weeks mark since my surgery. I’m back at the gym, running and doing weights although I still feel a little discomfort. I started as a 32b and I’m now I’m at 32c. I can stop using sports bras but will continue with wireless bras for the next 3 months.
I was given the green light to sleep on my sides but I tried it yesterday and it felt a bit painful still so I couldn’t keep that pose for more than 5 minutes.
In terms of looks I feel great with the results!
For my scars I’m using Trofolastin, I was worried I would form keloids which has never been the case although my skin scars horribly. But it’s been 2 weeks with the stripes and so far so good.

1 month in
All the inflammation has gone by now. I had some trouble having my incisions healing, it took a month and I think it usually take way less. When it comes to doing my life I can now lift my arms and wear whatever.
I’m still wearing a sports bra and I’ll continue wearing one for the next 2 weeks.
I was given the green light to go to the gym now.
I will probably start this week. I bought a cream to help with the scar tissue and appearance.
I still sleep on my back and with a it of elevation, I can’t sleep on my sides until at least week 6. That part has been the hardest.
My nipples are still more sensitive than normal but I can say that everyday is just a bit better.

One week update
First week was tough, the first 2 days were painful and you are useless. I was actually working from bed (I can work on my laptop) and I have a MacBook Air (thin and light enough to allow me to hold it with both hands) so I was back at work after 1 day of surgery.
I don’t recommend it, I have flexible schedules and more importantly I felt very tired and sleepy all the time. But I did not need a week to start working since I work from home if I want to. I didn’t even take 1 full day off. I was able to get up from bed, go to the bathroom, shower from the waist down… but things like cooking or even drinking from glass glasses was a challenge. Open doors, flush the toilet… they require more strength than what you think. You will definitely need someone to help you cook, clean, take care of all the chores and you will have 0 energy.
It doesn’t hurt much to be honest it’s just that what you can do is very limited.
My abdomen was huge!!! I was so bloated!!! I’ve never seen myself this big (don’t worry is normal and it will go away) boobs are hard and have not dropped.
