I Want Seashells Because B-shells Are Too Small and DD-shells Are Too Big - Morristown, NJ

WORTH IT
Hello everyone! So right now, I am about 40 days post-op. I don't mean to brag, but they are so beautiful!!

Right now, I can sleep on my sides and I can lay on my stomach, although I find myself only doing so for a couple minutes at a time. I said goodbye to sleeping just on my back maybe two weeks ago!

I am still wearing my compression bra to sleep and to work. However, I wear a regular bra (no underwire) whenever I want to wear something nice, mostly on the weekends honestly.

My biggest concern I have right now are my scars. They look pretty good to me though, so it's not even a huge concern. I have been using Bio-Oil with Purcellin oil. I also have silicon scars sheets. I use these sometimes but not all the time. I posted a picture and as you can see, they both seem to be healing nicely. The scars are nice and light so I'm super happy about that!

Good for you , I know from my own experience this surgery is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Good for you for doing your research. You will be so happy, good luck
Thanks! I'm excited! Going through physical therapy when I knew it wouldn't help was really difficult so I'm just praying it's all worth it!
Wow! You sound really tiny with big breasts! I couldn't imagine. You definitely sound appropriate for surgery. Are you hoping to go a lot smaller? I always wonder how small a PS can go, especially for very small women like yourself. I don't have a date yet but am getting super excited to get this process done. It's wonderful to have the privilege to get to have this surgery. Best of luck and keep us posted on your progress.
I am hoping to be a C cup! Even though I am "vertically challenged", I'm Italian and do have a a curvy body so I don't want to go smaller than a C. When I got approved for the surgery, I only told a small number of people because it is a privilege and I just felt like it's just a personal, intimate thing.

Hey girlie welcome to RealSelf! So glad you joined us and I am very excited for you.

I love your title, laughed so hard at that one!

Ha thanks so much! This is such a great site and I'm so excited to be apart of it! The title came from something I saw on Pinterest. I felt it was so appropriate!

Argh i know how it feels to be short, and petite, but with BOOBS! Congrats on your decision, you won't regret it :)
Thanks so much missKJ! Only 51 more days to go, can't wait to wear the cute lace bras at Victoria's Secret! :)

Stitches are out!

Got my stitches out yesterday. With that, some of the skin glue came off which means that most of the dried blood came off too. Now I can see the ta-tas in all their glory!

You are soooo cute! They look great! Really light scarring! Mine seem red and thicker on the sides at 8 weeks. I'm now 12 weeks and they are looking a little better...been using Maderma when I remember... Anyhow, yours are looking great! :)
Fabulous - happy for you!
Yes I think that they can get bigger during pregnancy and also again during menopause. I don't think that should stop anyone getting a reduction though. I wish I had had one at thirty, then again at fifty. I spent years lugging around these huge boobs and it was horrible. They went from something reasonable like an F cup to a K or L cup after a baby and menopause. It was terrible!

3 weeks post op

Hello everyone! I had my 3 week appointment with my doctor this morning where she took out my stitches! She said everything looks great and is healing nicely, YAY!

I still have to sleep on my back, ugh. And I still have to wear my compression bra until about November 1. I still have the skin glue on some parts of my incisions which means I can't put anything on my scars until the glue comes off anyway so I still have time to figure out which method of scar healing I would like to use.

I took this picture last night so my stitches are still in but I just wanted to show my progress!
