I am now 14 weeks PO & I am seeing results! My stomach is pretty flat, no very flat! I still have swelling right above my incision although I think its part fat because the Dr wouldn't lipo my stomach at all. He wanted to ensure the skin wouldn't die. Still, all in all I am happy! What a journey & still going!

Are you still wearing your binder or compression garment? I am 9 weeks post op and was wearing it until just a few weeks ago, because I felt that it would keep the swelling down some. My husband told me not to wear it anymore and I read it from another realselfer and since I stopped I have seen the swelling go down a lot! :)

I am 7 weeks post op today from TT and BR - and some days I feel swollen and somedays I don't. My upper ab area is still really big and my doc said that will get better - but like you - I am not so sure. I have hope, but I am really nervous about it. I hope we are still in SWELL HELL like everyone is saying and this is not as good as it gets. I wear my compression garment some, but not 24/7 like before. I mostly wear it during the day while working. I don't know if it is helping or hurting........I guess it just all depends on how your body decides to reacts. Please keep us posted on your progress.

I completely understand. I'm 3 months post and still swollen. I hate it. Some days I'm so swollen people ask me when I'm due.... smh ..... I'm not pregnant dumbness. Before surgery I wasn't ever asked if I was pregnant. Let's keep hope alive and this swelling he'll goes away and stays away.
