Hello all! After 2 C-Sec and 100lbs lost I had hanging skin. This to me was very unpleasant! For years I wanted to get a TT & finally did it.
Now I expected a bumoy journey recovering However, I am now PO 16dys & I feel tired all the time, depressed, still extreamly swollen and bruised, and numbness is bad! Normal? I posted before and after pics. If anyone could please check it out and give me your feedback I would appreciate it. I know it takes time but I would like to make sure I'm within the norm, lol! Happy Healing! ????

Who or what doctor did this? After seeing your pics, I think i'll pass on the tummy tuck and try the liposuction or something else! Thanks for sharing

I also had a c section for my first pregnancy. The second was a natural birth. My tummy got so much stretch skin in the first pregnancy. I want to do a tummy tuck but i have fear. Maybe I'll have some smart lipo done i know that won't flatten my tummy but it'll help. Btw your skin looks better of course but i don't see if completely flat. What the doctor tell you? Is it just extremely swollen?

Hi sweetie. Your still early on, so your going to experience everything you mentioned. I am 4 weeks post op and I have to say that each day gets better. I am now standing straight up. I still have swelling, especially when I do to much and tightness is subsiding. I do still get a little winded and tired, but that's to be expected. That's our body telling us that it's healing. Get plenty of rest and make sure to follow doctors orders. Are you still wearing your binder? I have to wear mine until 6 weeks, then doctor said I can start wearing a waist cincher. It will get better as each day goes by. We are going to have them days but just remember to stay positive and its only temporary. :)

Oh hun. Hang in there. My TT..was April 21..despite no problems .I have felt like I trudge uphill everyday. I am still swollen and TIRED...I just turned 50 and blaming the fact we don't bounce back as quickly. I lost 130 pounds about 10 years ago and have kept it off...and had lots of loose apron skin. After about week 7 I feel I am getting stronger everyday...I need to remind myself.... I can do this and pray for patience....it gets better...hang in there

Question: Why are dog ears? Why do some get them? Is there a way to avoid it?

Just remember that everybody is different I. The healing process. Give it time, it will go away. I'm 4 weeks pistol and still swell. Make sure to wear your binder 24/7. At least that's what my doctor told me until further notice. I only take it off of course when I have to shower, then it goes right back on. Stay positive, focused and be patient my dear. :)
