I've known Dr Rafizadeh for almost 18 years and he is an outstanding plastic surgeon. After interviewing four different plastic surgeons for their opinion on a lower face lift when I turned 45 years old, I chose Dr Rafizadeh because he is an artist...yes, an artist. I saw some of his drawings and sculptures and decided that he clearly knew perspective and could execute it. I had my lower face lift and believe it was the single most important thing I did to stave off aging and was very pleased. Fast forward 65 years and now I wanted a neck lift and face lift. I'd been getting Botox from a friend of the family (a plastic surgeon) and first discussed a neck and face lift with him. After several months of back and forth, I still felt unsettled so I returned to Dr Rafizadeh. We discussed a neck and face lift. Without hesitation, I called several days later to schedule the surgery. Dr Rafizadeh exudes confidence yet is mild mannered and pleasant to chat with. He answered all of my questions with thoughtful consideration. He has experience and stays up to date on the most effective way to execute specific surgeries. I wanted his experience to insure a fabulous outcome. Sure, I could have saved money by going to that family friend but something wasn't sitting right with me. On Tuesday, April 18, 2017, I had my neck and face lift under local anaesthesia and it was great. No dealing with the after effects of heavy drugs. I felt so great when I left that I gave assistance to two young children who had just been in a car accident - TRUTH! On Friday, 3 days later, I was out shopping because I had virtually no bruising. Monday, I was back to work. The outcome is exactly what I hoped for. No one has noticed that I had anything done but I've received many positive remarks about my appearance (wink wink). This is the outcome we all should want after a face lift. None of us wants "that look" - you know what I'm talking about. I'm adding my post op photos because I want everyone to experience their procedure in the best possible way. By the way, Dr Rafizadeh noticed that my Botox was being injected in such a way that my brows were drooping. He administered the next round and suddenly I have lovely arched brows providing a perfect frame for my eyes. It's all about experience and you really do get what you pay for.
