Morpheus destroyed my skin - now it's dimpled, shriveled, saggier & droopier

Morpheus Destroyed my Skin. Don’t Do It.

$2,400
I had some mild skin laxity around my mouth and marionette area. Since I’m only 45 my plastic surgeon recommended Morpheus to help firm the skin in these problem areas and recommended three treatments which I scheduled 6 weeks apart. After each treatment my face was swollen for over a week and swelling did not resolve for about 10 days. The red puncture marks and grid like bumps also took over 3 weeks to fade away. I was weary about the second and third treatment but was promised after 2-3 months the collagen growth would take effect and my skin would look much ‘firmer and youthful.’ About 6 weeks after my last treatment I noticed the bumps not only flattened out but then began to sink. I was told this was part of the healing process and everything should smooth out after 2-3 months. It has been 10 months since my last treatment and my skin is horribly shriveled and shrunken. I’m not even sure how to describe it, a badly damaged and dehydrated orange peel is probably the closest I can come. She suggested some tretinoin to help regenerate the skin but since my skin is now so thin and damaged I cannot use it without it burning and excessively peeling, even the lightest layer of .025 with moisturizer. She also recommended Renuva however that treatment provided zero improvement as well. I’m pretty much at a loss and devastated with how terrible my skin looks. I’ve never had acne but it looks similar to acne scarring. I did not take any before photos as my skin was smooth and in good shape beforehand. It was just some laxity issues, not skin surface issues, I was trying to resolve. Now my skin is dimpled, shriveled, and saggier and droopier than it’s ever been. Save your skin. Don’t go anywhere near Morpheus.

Currently going through the same thing. I am so so sorry. It literally ruined my life over night. If you want reach out , feel free!
I am going through this right now. They're telling me it's "dry skin" when it's clearly damage from the device and it aged my skin ab 12 years overnight. I can't look in the mirror and I relapsed on drugs because of the constant anxiety I feel about it. I went in for a scar treatment and they did my whole face because "why not". I thought they had to. No they just wanted extra money. I'd pay everything I have to have never gotten this done. How can we go after Morpheus8 themselves?
I am maybe in the same boat. The lower half of my face looks like it has melted... as if the skin is no longer connected to my lower jaw or neck. I had my first treatment done 5 days ago and I look horrific. I am going to see the doctor tomorrow. In the mean time she suggested a facial/neck compression garment. I paid for 3 treatments but no way in hell I am getting the next 2 done. I am trying to find any information online about this happening to anyone else but I can't find anything. It's hard to even describe how terrible my skin is... like it jiggles like a partially filled water balloon.
It happened exactly the same with me! Just with one treatment.
This happened to me Morpheus 8 destroyed all the fat in my face… sagging, deflated, years older, devastated. I was told once fat cells are destroyed they are gone, hoping some replenish. Fat grafting is scary but might be my only option. Only going to go if I can find someone who specializes in fat transfer! I sympathize, I’m so sorry this has happened to so many people.
thank you so much for sharing and i'm sorry this happened to you
I‘m from germany and i currently have a similar experience like you had. I had two procedures of M8 on my whole face. Even at the first time my skin had reactions they said my skin is very sensitive and M8 will make my skin more resistent. Now, 4 weeks after the second M8, my skin has a strange tissue. On my lower face it is saggier and shriveled. I hope it will heal. It looks like on your photo. How are you?
I relapsed on drugs bc of this I know my skin will never look the same
I‘m so sorry to read that. I wish for you that this nightmare will end and that your skin will heal with every month. I could cry every night and if I could I would turn back time and make this unhappen.
Next week I will see my dermatologist to show her my skin and to ask her what happened. The provider said, she doesn’t know.
Update: my dermatologist thinks that I have an inflammatory reaction of something. Not especially from the M8 procedure. Maybe it was the numbing cream, the serum or the cream which they told me I should use after the treatment. I don’t know. I have enlarged pores, inflammations and rough skin. Hyperpigmentation too. Now I’m using a topical steroid cream to calm the reactions down. Maybe this information will help someone.
Read other reviews. This is happening to everyone. It's the Morpheus. Bunch of providers on here blaming other providers and making bs excuses because they don't want to admit that this instrument destroys your skin.
It happen the same exactly like you described. My skin was great and smooth before but sensite like a baby. Now it ruined my face with a sand texture, dry and my face stay more sag. Loss very fat in lower face and temples after 3 weeks after M8.
Have you had any improvement?
