ORIGINAL POST

Morpheus 8

Had it done 1/27/22, this is day 3,blotchy and can't go out in public. Hurt just a little bit. Definitely worse looking then I thought. The girl was great who did it. I was numbed and took a pain pill , and was very comfortable. This is not healed so will check back in. I have a black eye, red freckle looking things, itches. Much more to this in the healing process and they say it's like a mild sunburn there's no way I can wear make up it would not cover all the redness I have. I won't do this again. I am very swollen, my eyes are awfully swollen.

I had FaceTite and Morpheus 8 done this time last year- I was super disappointed with my appearance for roughly a week to 10 days. But the difference over the last year has been astounding. It's going to be great. Hang in there!

I also had two Morpheus 8 treatments 4 weeks apart beginning in March. Will not be doing the next one. Both times I looked as if I were in a car accident for two weeks post procedure. The treatments did nothing to help the issues I was trying to address- loose skin on upper lid, minimal hyperpigmentation underneath/freckles, tiny wrinkles. What it did was make my eyes look puffier (there is a deep line now underneath bilaterally), darkened the troughs, and made my almost non-existent festoons bigger and very obvious! I now have small bags of skin in between where my under eye bags met the festoons. I can't believe I did this to myself. The occuloplastic cosmetic surgeon I went to who suggested this says I have to wait 3 months now before we can do anything to try and correct. When I went online and looked at photos and videos of others who have had this done, NO one looked like I did post procedure. You actually look great compared to me. Even though the doctor has admitted my eyes look worse from the two treatments so far, he has not acknowledged that anything could have been wrong with how the treatment was administrated. My guess is the settings were set incorrectly for eyes and it makes complete sense since I just found out I was one of the first patients treated in this office with this being a new machine for them. I really wish I had known. I researched the doctor for a year before chose him. Had the utmost confidence in him after we had our consultation. Seemed like they had been doing Morpheus8 for forever. I looked great prior to this and just wanted a little pick me up, now I am paying the price. I really hope things get back to the way they were. I didn't even care if it didn't work and nothing changed, but I certainly didn't expect to look worse. I hope you feel better soon and don't look worse than before like me. So depressing.

May I ask how you are doing and if your eyes are better ? I’ve had 2 treatments and the last one was 3 weeks ago and I’m freaking out bcuz of the dark circles. Pretty sure I have hyperpigmentation. I’m freaking out

I had my first treatment a week ago and I looked similarly to you (no eye bruising though) and I am a little frustrated that they said there's no "downtime" I work in a restaurant dealing with customers and definitely felt self conscious trying to cover the marks which were worse than expected. A week later and I have clear grid marks on my face BUT I can cover them with makeup. I am hoping that I will be happy with the results in a week. I was supposed to do a second session a week from now but have postponed it. We shall see. How did this turn out for you?
