Morpheus 8 Treatment

I had the first of a series of 3 Morpheus 8 treatments yesterday. When I arrived, a very nice girl put numbing cream on my phase and also gave me a shot. I was a little surprised by all the precaution they took before hand for pain, I have done a lot of research and have not read anything about the procedure being very painful. Once I was numbed, my nurse came in and gave me the option of using laughing gas and a cold air flow tube. Then the procedure began. I have to say that I consider myself pretty tolerant to pain but it hurt incredibly bad!! It was agonizing. The worst was right up next to the nose. After, my face was red and swollen in some places and felt raw. The nurse who preformed the service was very nice and very kind. She has also had it and said it hurt her terribly too. Infinity gave me aftercare products to use which is nice. This morning my face is still a little swollen and you can see little red pin pricks all over it. I am going with the process and will give myself time to heal. I am really hoping for great results which I will update. My biggest fear at this point are my remaining two treatments. I am not sure I can handle the pain again. Has anyone else had this experience? Is there anything you can do to lesson the pain? Will update in the next few days as to how I am healing.

Hi. I went to a derm who gave me a nerve block through the mouth. It only worked to numb the middle of my face, but it made the other areas bearable (also with numbing cream). Plus paracetamol.

I am now a week out. The first four days I had some swelling , rough sandpapery texture, and a lot of red pinpoint needle marks. they really improved on day 6 and today. I also had a couple of breakouts which is very unusual for me. I haven't seen much of a change yet as far as lifting but I am hopeful and going with the process and they do say it keeps improving for up to a few months. I talked with the nurse who administered the Morpheus 8 and she said they are trying out some new numbing creams. I am terrified to go back because it hurt so much. Really hoping that when I do, they will have something to better block the pain.I'm wondering a lot about other people's results and if they experienced less pain during the treatment.

I also found it to be really painful! I had numbing cream applied, but no shot. Was the shot to your face?
