Morpheus 8 journey —my first treatment went well

Morpheus 8 Journey

To give you some background... I am 28 years old and had fillers done around my eyes in 2017 to disguise my eye bags. Long story short - the provider I saw placed the wrong filler under my eyes which caused swelling, Malar edema, and my eye bags to look worse. I found a new provider that recommended dissolving the filler and treating my eye area with Morpheus 8 to tighten up the area! Today I had my first treatment and it went well. The area was numbed with numbing cream and I didn’t feel much pain. She did multiple passes around my eye and towards the end of my treatment I did start feeling a burning sensation but no pain. I would say just some mild discomfort. I am a bit swollen and can see the start of a small bruise under my right eye. I will post a photo of my face immediately after treatment. I will keep updating on my progress as I found these reviews very helpful during my own research :)
Cheers!

Hi, I also have some malar edema from filler. Who is the provider are you going to for the Morpheus8 treatment? Let me know, thanks!

Hi, I'm seeing Dr. Kami Parsa in Beverly Hills! His PA Danielle did the Morpheus8 treatment and she was amazing! I was really nervous going in but it was painless and recovery has been easy

I'm getting treatments as well. My Dr. says there are two settings ..one is for resurfacing the skin..the other is to stimulate collagen. Sounds like you may have had the resurfacing is your skin is red and peeling days later.

My Dr. has used it under my eyes,.,, on the collagen building setting.. My face looks normal pithing 13 to 24 hours. I have one more treatment to go before I post a review.
Maybe ask your practitioner what setting they're using and why. I'd think you'd want the collagen stimulating setting.

I am almost 48 hours out and haven’t had any significant bruising or markings. I still have some swelling but nothing crazy! During my recovery, I felt a little uncomfortable about 10 hours after treatment. But it just feels like you had a bad sunburn (the treated area felt hot and there was a burning sensation). The sunburn feeling went away by the morning after treatment. Today I gently washed my face with my normal routine and didn’t feel any difference in my skin. Haven’t seen any breakouts or drying of the skin/differences in skin texture. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen as I have very sensitive acne prone skin!

Okay so it’s been a little over three days since my treatment and I am starting to see some bruising. The treatment area is now very dry and it feels like sandpaper (what others have mentioned). It looks like the swelling is completely down now hence my eye bags are back! I know it takes time for this treatment to really show the final results (and of course multiple sessions) but I’m excited to see how everything turns out.

May I ask who performed the Morpheus? I’m also near LA, am looking for the same treatment.

I believe it was Kami Parsa's assistant Danielle in Beverly Hills
