Not impressed with these “results” and I still see some of the grid marks. Wearing sunscreen daily...skin still a bit rough looking and the areas by my mouth look way worse, still wish I hadn’t done this but not going to cry over spilt milk. Just will find something better for my skin in 2021...

You have helped me decide not to get this done. I was quoted 2400 for 3 sessions for my jawline. Im going to take your advice and not get this as it is not only expensive, but can do damage too. I think you will heal and I would look into ozone creams and maybe take a teaspoon of avocado oil to lower inflammation. You look beautiful regardless.
I did ultherapy two years ago and I really liked it so maybe that would be a good option! Thanks for the advice
Ok I will check that out, thanks!
Never do ultherapy. I did it at a very young age out of being spoilt. It aged me terribly in 1 year. It melted the fat on my cheeks. It has been 8 years, I am still suffering.
I believe you and saw horrific reviews about Ultherapy. My heart goes out to you for the suffering you have been through. I just got sculpsure on my waist and it was too low so it melted some fat where I didn’t want it to, and I have been distraught and sick to the stomach over it. Being unhappy with your looks because of the beauty standards in society is already hell as it is, but ruining your appearance is even more hell. I’m so sorry about your experience and you should try a tablespoon of authentic olive oil everyday to temporarily fatten your face area again. Sadly there isn’t a lot we can do, but this makes me truly want to focus on Heaven more than this world and let go of obsessing over the flesh. I love you and am so sorry for your pain.
Thank you very much for being supportive and for your advice. I will try it. From my experiences, companies that produce these machines are very money-oriented and doctors pay a lot of money for these machines so they don't care about you but they want to see the return on their investment. They don't tell you that you are very young and not suitable for these procedures. We as consumers should be very careful. Also, human nature tends to think that bad things won't happen to you. Even if you hear bad things, you think that this is an exception. But in reality, even there is a 1% chance, it can happen to you. So we really need to be careful and size the risks.
don't chance Ultherapy. In fact do not do any of these laser treatments it is playing Russian Roulette
I'm so sorry you are unhappy with your results. I had this done about three weeks ago and aside from the pain of getting it done, I am quite happy. I had bumpy marks that only I could see up until last week but I do realize that the damage is what stimulates the collagen and elastin. I am excited to see what my results will be after i complete all 3 of my treatments. You look absolutely beautiful to me. I wish you the best.
Truly happy it's working out for you :) wouldn't wish what I went through on anyone!
How many morpheus treatments do you have? You just do it in jowls or over the face? Do you know how deep the needle were there? Thank you.
Wow thank you for sharing your experience. I had a consultation at Dr Salinda Johnson’s clinic in Harley Street (London beauty clinic, I would NOT recommend them) her aesthetician quoted me either £2500 or £3500 I didn’t care to remember the price because I wasn’t even interested it just sounded way way way too aggressive as she was explaining it to me.(that apparently was their (pretend) Christmas special (shhhh-don’t-tell-anyone) discount price! Yeah right) She said they would use 4mm long needles with radioactive electrical stuff that would ‘blast’ beneath my skin or something. That just sounded horrendous I just was not having that. I just smiled and nodded until the consultation was over. I really hope your skin does settle down. Best wishes!
Yeah I achieved zero results I just started using some skincare I really like, it's insanely expensive but I truly see a difference it's called Augustinus Bader. I got a serum and a cream.
Really?! You love it!!?
So far I actually really like it. I have super sensitive skin and it causes no issues with break outs or anything it's making my skin so smooth. I will finish these first bottles but if it keeps looking great I would keep paying the high price!
Good
Good! I’m glad you found something suitable to help sooth the issues those people caused.
How many morpheus sessions do you had? It was in hole face?
I agree. The downtime and price is not worth the very little results, if any at all.
Right? I'm sure there is something out there with great results and I will keep searching :) where I am really having problems is the "marionette" area by my mouth going down my chin. Not sure how to fix and don't think fillers help that area from personal experience, I tried it and wasn't loving how that looked.
I have the same issue. The skin needs to be lifted. Either with filler in the cheek or threads. Unfortunately. Morpheus did nothing for that area in my experience. Bummed.
Yeah I actually feel like it made it worse in that area :((( Threading scares me!!!! I don't know why but it looks so creepy and painful

18 days POST update*

Results are terrible. My skin is bumpy looking and there are still dark marks from the needle head. My neck still has a ton of dark marks and I live in sunscreen and hats/scarves/Covid face masks. My neck looked way tighter before now it looks like it has these weird gobbley bits. Super unhappy with this and will not be doing again. Will have to find something to counteract the negative effects eventually but going to give my skin and wallet a break til 2021, this year is a bit cursed. Regret doing this. Thanks for everyone’s comments I hope you have better luck than me. xo

Can I ask what state you got the procedure done in?
California
She stated in a previous update that it was a provider called DMH Aesthetics in Beverly Hills. (California)
Yikes! Does the provider have an explanation for your reaction?
Prior to treatment they said "no downtime" when I called to complain in 48 hours they said "72 hours downtime" when I called after 72 hours the manager said it took 3 weeks for him to heal...
I’m so sorry you are going through this. Unfortunately, I’m dealing with the exact same thing. Provider did my neck all the way down and it looks like scarred chicken skin now. Nothing is helping. I’m about two weeks out. Please keep us updated.
Ugh I'm sorry, how is it now? On my neck the marks faded a bit but I still faintly see them. I've been using nectifirm moisturizer to try to tighten it back up.
Who in their right mind would give you any high energy treatment to begin with? This should be a crime!
Oh no! No one advised me otherwise! I feel like I have to do something to fix this now was thinking fraxel?
There's a complex healing process is going on right now so I would not do any further intensive treatments for at least 6 months, and personally I would really suggest that you not do any more high energy device treatments at all. In my opinion they are destructive in themselves, and usually do more harm than good. Let your skin heal. Be gentle with yourself.
OK I bought an IPL to try to help with the marks it left but I won't do it for a couple months I'll put it off till February if I can
I think that's wise. Read all the negative reviews on IPL on here. You have to go through a couple of filters to get to them but maybe reading those will give you an even longer moment of pause.
Hmm I've done IPL at least 4 times and have always only seen an improvement in any hyperpigmentation. But that's all I think it helps with personally.
Perhaps you've been lucky. As with every high-energy device application there are so many different factors to go in that each treatment, and if just one of those factors change, whether it be due to the setting or the technician's skills, if one setting is off or misjudged it can prove to be disastrous. I would count your blessings now, considering what you just experienced. Keep in mind, all these treatments fall under the umbrella of high energy device applications which carry risks with each individual treatment. Take care.
I don’t understand your comment. Why wouldn’t the provider perform the morpheus8 on her?

So badly broken out with cystic acne. Did another cryo facial today which helps with the redness and swelling tho I’m still swollen on my left side where I usually have a very straight jawline. So awful that I’m getting cystic acne in places where the RF burnt and stamped my face the worst. Not seeing anything amazing coming out of this treatment so far except new acne scars.

Hi there,
I just stumbled across your review. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this and I have had a very similar experience and I understand your pains. I fell into a mild depression after because I looked horrendous and regretted doing it BUT it all went away after a couple of weeks.
Morpheus 8 is definitely being downplayed when it comes to the pain level and the healing process.
I looked awful for about 2 weeks after the initial treatment. My skin was swollen in places, it felt rough, tender to the touch and tight and I had a bruise under my left eye for about 3 weeks until it was fully subsided. And I just want to mention that I’ve never had a bruise anywhere on my body before and I was 38 when I had this treatment. BUT I just want to assure you that this will go away but it takes some time. Promise! I’m not a doctor or a nurse or work in this line of work but I’ve had numerous treatments and this has by far been the one with the longest recovery time. I’m not sure I would do it again. While I’m happy with the results I’m not sure I can take the pain again.
But personally I think you should let your skin rest a lil bit. I know it’s hard but try not to think about it so much. It will heal. I’m sure of it.

Best, Peter
It will be 3 weeks on Friday, I will post an update today. It has healed a lot but I am not happy with the results it looks worse than before actually. Hopefully it will tighten up. Thanks for your story glad I am not alone in this unfortunate experience. Did you do it again?
Please keep us updated. I know they say they have to damage the skin for the collagen rebuilding to kick in. I am sure you are going to look great once it completely heals. Did you call your provider? What did she say?
My provider then changed what they said about it being zero downtime to 3 weeks! They sent me a healing light at their own expense to try to help me recover which was nice of them, but I think they did that because of my yelp review. I don't look great I look worse than before actually but at least my skin is normal texture to the touch again, unfortunately it made my neck worse and I still have marks from the needle tip.
I’ve been following your posts! Let us know how you are doing. I’m so sorry that this happened to you! But I’m sending you positive energy that everything will be okay and you will heal!
Hi Holly Vegas, I am in Vegas currently too. Thanks for your energy that is so nice. I am going to post an update today unfortunately it doesn't look better than before this treatment, for me it ended up being a mistake. I will eventually choose something safer to counteract some of the negative effects I still have. It will be 3 weeks Friday.
I just saw your post and wondered how your progress is going so far. I wish I had read this sooner and think I could have helped you. I have had so many different very aggressive laser treatments done. I believe you were experiencing a kind of heat reaction that causes a kind of allergic response. I also have experienced this kind of reaction before. Now when I go in for a laser treatment I make sure I have Benadryl so that I take it right after the treatment. It basically causes the immune response to be less aggressive. These treatments take at least a week to subside so I think after that you should be fine. Please let us know how things went!
I've had this done with great results. Swelling and breaking out can be part of the healing process. Be patient and try not to freak out. I had it done around my eyes and the swelling was insane. It takes about a week for everything to calm down. Good luck.
