Morpheus 8 under eye and jawline

3 week update

$2,500
Still haven’t seen a huge improvement yet. I actually feel makeup and concealer settles even MORE into my lines and wrinkles than before. I also feel like my under eyes look more hollow & darker than before. Been using prescription hydroquinone (from nurse) to help with pigmentation. Laxity is about the same. No difference in my chin area either. I still have 2 more sessions so we’ll see. I thought I would see more of an improvement based off the hype (claiming with 1st session) but really no change yet.

Had same exact thing with dryness and crepey under eyes.
Has it gone away yet? I'm wondering if I should've done a different laser and trough filler instead
Same.... I noticed the most visible in my neck area but other then that... I didn’t see huge difference... I had a scar that was minimal and that’s something i thought it says corrects but nope still there.... I probably won’t get another treatment, just use good medical grade products and hope for the best!
Oh and what products are you using?
I use skinmedica! and cerave’ that’s over the counter night cream!
Oh, and a had 3 treatments 4 weeks apart..... Ugh
No way, that's what I'm doing too! I'm really surprised with the responses I'm getting from others on here. You hear all these great testimonies and before and afters but honestly I don't see it. How long as it been since your last treatment?
Hi! First of all you look beautiful in your before photos. I thought wow, she's so pretty! BUT, I understand wanting improvement on certain areas, I'm the same way! I did Embrace RF on the 12/22 also! I chose to do both Morpheus 8 and FaceTite, check out my review on here on RealSelf. I consulted with both Austin Occuplastics and Dr. Saxon. I chose Dr. Saxon for multiple reasons. First of all, she uses both tips on the device, the resurfacing tip and the deep dermal needling. The resurfacing tip is ESSENTIAL for under eye improvement. I also had the same complaint as you under my eyes, honestly mine have already improved! Dr. Saxon explained to me that most places don't use both tips, I'm sure its more expensive for the practice to use both. Second of all Dr. Saxon explained she is one of the only places to use topical numbing, injected lidocaine/nerve blocks and laughing gas. It also essential that you have all three numbing modalities so that the treatment can be done as aggressively as possible. That way she can just focus on the best outcome without being worried about your pain. Even with all this numbing it still hurts. So, I'm not sure if you bought three treatments in advance but I would highly recommend that you consult with Dr. Saxon and tell her about your experience and she if she can give you a better outcome on your next two treatments. Feel free to reach out to me and I'll be happy to chat with you! For the record, I work in the industry as a medical esthetician.
Thank you SO much for the response! Unfortunately I purchased a package of 3 so I'm kind of stuck. I never even heard of dr Saxon! Even while I was researching doctors. I wish I learned about her sooner but thank you for the recommendation! I'm going to get my second treatment soon and my nurse did say that she'll use a different tip for the under eye. Maybe it's the resurfacing one? I'll certainly ask. I'll def look into Dr Saxon she sounds wonderful!

Day 5 - healing, skin still looks crepey but less texture

Still very crepey which is really discouraging... nurse said everything is normal and takes time. She also said she’ll discuss with dr about using a different surface tip for under eyes for the 2nd treatment. No difference in jawline or under chin.

I actually see quite a difference. You just look more rested and overall refreshed! Especially around your eyes. I bought a package but haven’t had time to schedule yet. I think it’s more difficult for us to see changes in ourselves Bc look in mirror everyday. You’re beautiful.
Thanks hun!! Idk I just don't see it yet :( maybe I'm not setting realistic goals but surely I thought I would see an improvement in the texture and wrinkles. If anything, my concealer settles even MORE into the lines and wrinkles than before.
It takes up to 3 months for full results!
How are you doing now? Are you satisfied?
Still not sure /: I don't see a huge change in texture or laxity. It's been 3 weeks to this day. So far I'm not impressed, with the hype of Morpheus I thought I would for sure see results on the first treatment but idk. Will post an update with photos
Happy New Year! I just realized that you had your treatment(s) done with the same provider that I had my consultation. : ) In August I met with Dr. Paul and Ali, who were both super friendly, matter-of-fact and willing to answer all of my questions. I do hope you are seeing an overall improvement and that your remaining treatments go well.
Oh wow! That's awesome yes I met w dr Paul and Tracy who's super sweet. So far I haven't seen much of a difference... I thought based off the hype I was going to see a change. I'll be posting a 3 week update :)
Now that it is February, Im wondering how both of you feel about your treatment?

Day 3 - skin laxity/crepiness looks worse!

Added some photos of what it looks like with makeup.. ugh. It def looks a lot more crepey and almost worst than before. The lines under my eyes are even more pronounced and makeup settles so much more now than before. I hope this is just part of healing as the texture is still rough and super dry. I feel it looks more lax than before...

Thanks for sharing. I’m planning to have this done. I’m betting (hoping?) that the crepey-ness is just part of the healing process. Your skin is beautiful and you are gorgeous. : )
You're the sweetest! Thank you :) Im hoping too! I sent photos to my nurse and she also agreed that it's part of healing. I just need to trust the process.. I can feel less grittiness so my skin is changing fs. It's just hard to keep it moisturized, it's so dry! Are you planning on doing it under the eyes?
You’re welcome! Yes, I am...my eyes are one of my primary areas that I obsess over. I’ve already had my consult, just need to schedule the appointment. I’m glad your nurse is so encouraging about it all. : )
Same here! I can't wait to see your results :) did your dr ever discuss anything else besides Morpheus under eyes?
Sorry for the delay in responding!
Yes, we discussed Accutite for the lower lids. I’m really hoping the Morpheus 8 will take care of most of my issues.
How are things going with you?
Please ignore my question...I see that you posted an update. : ) I still think your skin looks great and that it’s probably still healing. The winter also makes skin seem drier because of less moisture in the air.

I hope the hydroquinone works.
What are your concerns? Mine was just the wrinkles and crepey/laxity.. I hope it didn't cause hyperpigmentation cuz the skin does look darker. I hope yours goes well! I'm too scared to do the accutite just yet. I might try a diff laser and filler
I had this done 4 weeks ago this past Friday. My skin did the same thing and is finally healing. It took my skin awhile to heal. I was a nervous wreck about it. I had it done on my neck and chest.
Really? Well that makes me feel better. I'm so worried because it looks worse than before & scared I just made my under eyes more crepey. Have you done anything since the treatment? Facials? Peels?
I have not done anything. They recommended me just keep it hydrated until my skin healed.
You do look hollow under the eyes with wrinkles you didn’t have before. That’s what happened to me but worse. Hope you got better
