Morpheus8 Destroyed my Skin
efkabiotechMarch 26, 2024
I had a Morpheus8 treatment on my neck and cleavage mid Dec-2023. Before the treatment my skin was really soft and even (no pigmentation) - treatment was done more as a preventive measure rather actual treatment. I healed well from the treatment.
However, already 1 month post-treatment I started to be concerned because I still had chicken skin on treated areas along with some hyperpigmentation. I was told that skin needs time to re-build and my skin should become soft within next 3 months. I got 2 mild chemical peels followed by mesotherapy with polynucleotides to soften the skin and help in rebuilding/healing process (these additional treatments were done on my cost). Now, almost 4 months post-treatment I still have chicken skin on my neck and cleavage and even more hyperpigmentation. I'm terrified that Morpheus8 caused micro-scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and it seems that there is nothing that can be done to correct it. Does anyone have similar experience and any idea what to do? I consider ablative CO2 laser but I'm scared at the same time - I don't want to worsen what I have already...
