Grid Marks on Stomach Almost 6 Months Later
KatieBinBoiseApril 25, 2023
I had my first ever Morpheus8 treatment on my stomach in Nov 2022. Treatment was very painful, but by the next day, pain was gone and it seemed like I was healing normally. No infection or anything... BUT, I noticed the red, raised "grid marks" weren't going away in a week or so like they said they would. It's now been almost 6 months and I still have a red grid pattern on my stomach. I've tried all sorts of creams and steroids with very little improvement. Obviously not going to ever have another Morpheus8 treatment, and am really nervous that this is permanent scarring ????

Was their any skin prep before it? Like using special serums etc? Did you have blood thinning meds that could have made you more sensitive? Were they a reputable provider?

This also happened to me. My stomach still has all the marks and I did it on Nov 2022 as well
My provider is also trying to help, I think they realize they may have made an error and had the machine frequently too high.
Happy to chat if you want someone going through the same roller coaster!

Mine has gotten considerably better after IPL every two weeks, and a high dose steroid cream! It's about 75% better, finally!

Yes, an IPL laser every 2-3 weeks. They used the Lumecca laser by InMode. And the steroid cream is called clobetasol.

I am having the same issues. Did it ever get better for either of you?

One of my clients had this done and has linear scarring (raised white scarring) on her entire abdomen.
I am so sorry to hear that:( Were you able to speak to your original provider about this?
Happy to hear your provider is taking care of you post op and beyond. Please update us if anything changes! Take care
