2 Weeks Later

I still have bruises on my cheeks and puncture marks on my neck from the needles from the lidocaine injections. The skin on my neck is very tender. Anytime I touch it or put my chin down and it touches my neck It feels like pins and needles. My skin is extremely dry like sandpaper. Not as red and the “puncture marks “ from the needles are improved on my forehead. Have been using Neocutis Aftercare given to me by my provider. Certainly seeing no improvement though I’m told I won’t see it until months later.
I am scheduled to go back to my provider in 3 months for initial “after” photos.

Is It Just Me?

Whoever in these reviews says this procedure isn’t painful must have an astronomical amount of pain tolerance. I’ve had in my 3 treatments: 23% lidocaine cream (left on for an hour) as well as lidocaine injections, in addition to nitrous oxide… so all 3 COMBINED for pain… had no effect whatsoever. I’ve always had a decent tolerance for pain but this was bad. Maybe because I have fair skin and light hair? My provider say 4 out of 10 can’t tolerate it. Maybe because she goes deeper with the needle penetration and heat ? Maybe because she does 4 passes all over? Afterwards for several hours my face is lobster red, with multiple welts and burns like crazy. I do all the medical grade after care they provide along with Arnica, Aquaphor -yet it is about 5 days before I can leave the house. I still have “meth face” for about a week from the grid marks that scab over.
