I had this done to tighten my skin
ORIGINAL POST
Morpheus8

I had my first treatment of Morpheus8 yesterday. I had this done to tighten my skin especially around my jawline. The procedure was fairly painless due to the numbing cream and pronox (laughing gas). This morning I woke up to cuts on my face like road rash. I was told I would look fine by Monday when I go to work. I will update tomorrow. I have no pain. I trust my provider and know it is a process.

I'm a little concerned
I had Morpheus8 performed yesterday. I was supposed to just be red like a sunburn with some slight bruising possible. However, I have what look like cuts. I'm a little concerned as I didn't expect it and I'm worried it will scar.

I hope you're feeling more healed soon - please do let us know how you're getting on.

I hope you’re feeling better soon. I’ve had this done and I was a little red and tender first treatment but I never had any scarring… I hope yours goes away and you feel better soon.

I believe those cuts were caused by the provider dragging the tip across your face when the needles were not fully retracted. the provider must PICK UP the head and place it back down, and remember not to move it until AFTER the pins have fired. I'm very sorry to see what happened to you. I have many ladies at my spa that are very happy with the results, with no down time and no visible problems other than slight redness that fades quickly.

Looking MUCH better
My skin is looking much better. I was worried for nothing. This is two days after the procedure. My skin is rough and peeling which I assume is normal. When I showered my skin really sloughed off just with water and my hands.
I have been using TNS Recovery Complex and Neosporin. I have used Ceraphil cleanser on my face as it is a gentle, “soap-less” cleanser. I will wait another day or two before I go back to my regular skincare. Tomorrow though I will try make up as I have to go back to work.
I’m not really noticing any tightening of my jowls which was my area of concern but it is only day two after my first treatment. I will post again in a few days.

I’m considering this treatment, @ a local open-house lower rate. Could you go out in public w/ foundation & concealer w/ out it looking too obvious?

I was told no make-up for 48 hours. I went to work yesterday (Monday) and no one seemed to notice. I think my results are not typical. I don't believe there should be cuts on your face after this procedure. I was told just red like a sunburn.
