I had this procedure about 5 weeks ago. I chose not to continue with any more sessions of Morpheus8 because of the scarring on my face. On my left cheeks I now have several small dots on my skin and on my right check I still have thread slashes on my cheek. While they are lighter now and difficult to see in the photos they are very visible in person. My provider informs that the new protocol is to use lower energy with more passes but I am not willing to risk it.

Hi there, I just wanted to put my three cents in...I just came back from my second treatment and both times all I experienced was a sunburn sensation.The doctor performing the procedure did three passes on all areas of my face The redness lasted till that night having the appointment at 11 am. Looks like something went wrong with your treatment, the provider should be able to adjust the depth as well as the intensity of the heat. In my case the "dots" and rough texture lasted way longer than I was originally told but eventually they healed nicely. I wonder if the person doing your treatment had proper training and enough experience. But most of all I hope you heal from this without permanent scarring, I can imagine how frustrating it must be wanting to do something for yourself and getting hurt in the process. Thank you. Do you have pictures of your results? I was so looking forward to lifting my jowls and tightening my neck. I just don't know if I feel confident to do this treatment.

That was my reason for doing it as well, I guess I'm vain enough to go through this but not vain enough to go under the knife :) I took a couple pictures but have to figure out how to download them, mainly so you can see how my skin looks 24 hours after the treatment. My neck has way more laxity than yours I'd be thrilled to have a neck like yours but unfortunately I was "blessed" with a genetic turkey neck :( I noticed after the first treatment there was a lot less of the crepey look to the skin, it was definitely plumper and softer but the laxity is still there, better but still there. I"m being patient, it takes months for the collagen to rebuild itself. My treatments are spaced 8 weeks apart, i was concerned about that at first but know I feel it for the best my skin has time to heal and my mind forgets how unpleasant the treatment is. Maybe my doctor should use a higher % of numbing cream or I'm just highly sensitive because I can feel every needle puncturing my skin...They have a cute sign in the treatment room that says "no pain no gain" :) When I'm able to upload the pictures you'll see that after 24 hours my skin has a little bit redness but no cuts or bruising, your treatment must have been way too rough and believe me my was no picnic. Hope your healing though and please don't feel I'm trying to convince you to have more. I just felt so bad that your face was so injured and felt it was absolutely unnecessary.

I still have scars on my face. They are much lighter but they are still there. I currently have make up on so I will post pictures in the morning.

I have not noticed any improvement in my skin as a result of doing Morpheus8 but I only did one session. My provider was very kind in refunding my payment for the last two treatments. My provider informed me that they have changed the procedure to do this treatment with lower energy and more passes. I am still not inclined to risk any more scars on my face.

Meeting with Provider three weeks after the procedure

I met with my provider yesterday. She took numerous pictures and some with her cell phone. She is prescribing a topical cream to try to fade the scars.

I have decided not to continue with the Morpheus8 procedures. I just cannot risk my face to any more scars. For anyone considering doing this I would suggest saving your money. I have full faith that my provider knew what she was doing but the device has a square metal head that heats up and can burn your skin. To me that is a design defect.

She said she would talk to the office manager to see what they can offer me. I informed her I want a refund of my unused portion of my funds as I am well within my consumer protected rights to request this.

I am sorry that this has happened to you. I had this procedure also. What a big mistake. It melted the fat in my face, and I now have more wrinkles and loose skin....very upsetting. I have seen no skin tightening...just the exact opposite. I am at a loss as to what to do.
