I just had my second in the series of 3 Morpheus8 treatments. I'm extremely happy with the results! It has absolutely helped to shrink my pores, tighten my face overall, and especially helped the fine lines and sagginess around my eyes and eyelids. I noticed a difference after the very first treatment. It's also helped reduce some of the fatty tissue around my jowls.

Morpheus8 is not the most pleasant experience, but Nitrous gas helps a ton so if your office offers that-- get it. I don't bruise easily so all I had to deal with was 1-2 days of looking like I had a bad sunburn. A little puffy on the first day as well. You'll want to schedule your treatment when you know you can go a few days without makeup.

All in all would definitely recommend.

Did you have pinpoint scabs? If yes, how long did they take to heal up?

Just a few that took 2-3 days to heal. I did have tiny pinpoint "holes" (not scabbed) that looked like pores all over my face that was noticeable for about 5 days after the treatment.

Looks great! Sid you have it done on eyelids as well?

Yes I did the eyelids every time as well. Would definitely recommend it. I noticed a huge difference in tightening there. One time I did bruise pretty well from it.

(Almost) 1 year update

SunshineAndBlueSkies
Last year I had a series of three Morpheus8 treatments. I'm a 41 y/o female and I can honestly say that my skin has not looked this good over 10 years. I've always had dull skin with uneven texture that was prone to breakouts, and as I have aged the past few years I've noticed a lot of lines, sagginess, and wrinkles popping up, especially in my lower face and around my eyes.

After having the three treatments last year and seeing such great results, I was super eager to go back for my one-year follow up session. This time, I decided to go all out and get not only my face, but my eyelids, neck, and chest. My nurse started by washing my skin and then applying numbing cream to my face. She wrapped it in saran wrap to stay moist while I waited about 45 minutes. Once we got started, I quickly realized that I made the ultimate mistake in scheduling my appointment-- I should have waited until after my period. For some reason, getting any treatment (botox, laser hair removal, etc.) is MUCH more painful for me when I have my period. The session was a doozy. Even with the nitrous gas, which usually works flawlessly for me and has me feeling no pain, the session was tough. I believe she also went more aggressively with the needle depth since I've had three sessions already.

Afterwards, I was pretty red and sunburned, with track marks and blood pin pricks scattered all over my face, neck, and chest. Slightly uncomfortable. I also made the mistake of laying down to sleep that night, as I woke up on my 2nd day (1st full day after treatment) VERY swollen. My eyes are extremely swollen, and my face is very puffy and red. Neck/chest remain red at this point too. Skin is a little dry and tight, but I slathered on the firming cream and moisturizer they gave me to help combat that.

I will update again after recovery.

I’m getting it done for the first time on April 1st and quite nervous about it ruining my skin

Why do you think it will ruin your skin? What issues are you trying to remedy?

Witch depth and settings did they use? I stay with orange skin after and it make a year since. Never had problems with my skin before. Did you do it in temples too?

People on here have said it gave them more lines and made their texture worse. I’m really hoping for skin tightening

Oh wow, that stinks. No, it helped my skin so much. It hasn't been this bright and smooth ever. People randomly comment to me how my skin looks so good-- and I've never had that happen before I started getting Morpheus.

Definitely take a LOT of *before* pictures and then wait about 2-3 months after your first treatment to take the after pics. I took pics after each of my three sessions and my skin improved each time.

Whenever I hear "I believe she also went more aggressively with the needle depth" (than before), I get a little nervous for the person who got it. Why not just stick with what has been proven to work previously? Why do practitioners feel the need to "be more aggressive" the next time if everything worked safely the first time? I wish you luck. Please keep us posted.

Hello did your pores look larger for awhile and if so dis they return to normal
September 2, 2022
Just the first couple of days after healing because I was swollen. After a week my skin was much calmer and it took about 1 month for the tightening in my pores to be noticeable

Ok thank you!

Morpheus8 Recovery Day 3 (1 year follow up session)

SunshineAndBlueSkies
Day 3 I woke up just a little red and swollen still, especially around my eyes...swelling is definitely improved since yesterday. My face doesn't look too bad from some angry red patches that run from my nasolabial folds down to my marionette lines and chin. This was an area that was hit with a higher frequency during treatment so I'm thinking that it's going to lag behind in healing. As the day has gone on I've been feeling pretty dry and tight, so I've put the hydrating cream on quite a few times, especially in that lower face area. Track marks on my neck still pretty visible. Chest just slightly pink still.

One positive is no bruising this time! Last year the eye tip left me with two black and blue eyes for a few days. I took arnica this time around which I think helped. I'm hoping tomorrow the lower face will begin to peel and not look so raw.
