Hi Everyone,
I'm a 31 mom of two and very athletic build (square) and after the kids and body fat loss thanks to crossfit I didn't have any real volume left in my breasts.
On December 14th I had a lift with implants (vertical insertion). After a TON of debating since I was initially thinking of having about 300cc, I decided to go with 375cc silicone under the muscle to give myself a bit more of a curve, while not feeling unproportional.
Procedure went very well, although I had a horrible reaction to the general anesthetic, and now I'm 6 days post op and feeling MUCH better than I thought I would at this point. The implants are still very stiff and high, I have a bit of lower back pain due to the weight but nothing unbearable.
I only took pain meds the first two days since I didn't like how dizzy and tired they made me feel. Haven't taken even Tylenol for two or three days now and I'm feeling great.
Any questions? ask away!

8 days post - Think I know my bra size...
JknkDecember 22, 2016
Feeling really good! Nearly have full range of motion back in my arms, though obviously not making any sudden movements. My breasts have softened up a bit and I don't really have that "tight" feeling in my chest (maybe I'm just getting used to the feeling and the weight..)
Tried on a couple of old bras, as I've fluctuated so much over the years and having kids etc. I think I'm about a 34D which is awesome, not huge but nice and full in my bra.
Keep the questions coming!

OMG. You look amazing!! I just went in for my pre op and have decided to go with either the 339 or 371 cc.. What did you end up getting?? 345 or 375?? Also what are your stats and what size bra did you start out with?/. I"m 5'8 157.. very athletic.. i might go nuts staying out of the gym for 6 weeks.. seriously though..

Now that you've had them for a while.. are you happy with the size being as athletic as you are??

Hi!
Thanks so much, i LOVE them. I went with 345cc, i'm 5'4", about 140lbs (was 144 going into surgery, haven't weighed myself since) 39"hips 28" waist, so now with the new chest I'm pretty proportional at 37", full 34D
Before surgery I was (barely) a 34C bra and that was an EMPTY cup lemme tell you hahahah
went back to the gym last night for the first time after 5 weeks (after checking with my PS of course), and it was SUCH a long break but I feel amazing today :)
Good luck and i'll be checking your profile for updates!!

I bet with me being a little taller than you.. but starting at the same cup size, 371 will look pretty darn close to your results!! I was thinking about doing the smaller 339 but now I'm not so sure.. Would be happy with a full D... How was working out?? I lift weights and run a little. I think that may be the hardest part.. staying out of the gym for so long. I swear some of the regulars might call the cops.. thinking i may have gotten abducted! LOL. So glad you're doing good.. You really look amazing!!

Hhahahaha I'm the same, in the gym about 8 or 9 hrs a week.
I box and do functional training (a lot like crossfit WODs). I went to a class Thursday and was SO sore, went this morning and it wasn't so bad. I can't do burpees or push-ups but back, shoulders, legs etc is all good.
Haven't boxed yet obviously lol
It was honestly really hard being away for 5 weeks but my results are so worth it I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m in Ottawa and now I’m really considering driving to Montreal for a consultation with your dr. I love your results.

Hi ladies,
I'm just over 2 weeks out and feeling great. My breasts are softening up quite a bit, they're just still stiff in the mornings and on the top in general since they're under the muscle.
I've been able to drive for a few days now and I'm really happy to be mobile again, was feeling really fed up of asking everyone to help with everything!
Anxious to see what the scars look like but my surgeon said the tape should stay on until it falls off on its own, which I know is better for the scars in the long run so I know I can be patient for a while longer ;)

You look awesome! :) It takes some time for the scars to fade (anywhere up to 6-12 months on average). I had a BL done last October, my scars are already healing nicely. I've been using Biocorneum 2x daily.

Hi jshu!
Thanks so much! The paper tape that was left on after surgery is starting to peel off so my PS told me to start trimming the loose parts and I'm really happy with what I can see so far, fingers crossed :)
Will update again soon.

Good luck tomorrow!!
I'm not too worried about scarring as my skin heals well (and anything is better than what they were hahahh) but I guess if it's still an option it's best to go with what your surgeon decides. :)
I could dress easily after about 4 days, I'm still cautious and I move slowly but I can more or less take care of myself and my kids on my own now (1 week post). From days 2 to 5 post the pain was really just like the pain in your breasts before you get your period.. nothing to be too worried about!
I'm 5ft4 and i weigh about 145 hope this helps!
Thanks
Thanks!
Looking forward to seeing your updates!
Sorry to hear you're in pain, I think i have a pretty high pain threshold in general which must help... :)
I'll be posting more photos soon!
Happy healing!
