5 weeks post! Scars and exercise
I went for a follow up today with Dr Lee and he said everything looks great, he gave me some massages to do to help even out some of the asymmetry and some silicone gel to start applying for the scars. He also said that could try Dye Pulsed Laser, but I'm not too sure how I feel about that, haven't heard great things..
Anyways, here are some pics taken yesterday. The asymmetry is still there obviously but the scars are looking slightly better than a couple of weeks ago.
Scars at 2.5 weeks as compared to 3.5 weeks Post-Op
When the paper tape from the surgery got too gross around two and half weeks my PS told me to just gently trim what I could and remove the rest.
Once I saw what was under there I almost wished the tape could just stay on. *Holy Scars Batman!!* I had little blisters from the tape and black scabs and bruising and angry puffy redness. What a let down :(
Also, my left implant is still quite a bit higher than the right so it's pushing my nipple down making my breasts look really unsymmetrical.
Other than in the shower I barely looked at them for a good 2-3 days and tried to remind myself that this is temporary, this is not what they'll look like after a few months and, if I'm being really honest, even if they stayed like this forever they'd still be better than what I had prior to surgery!
Now, at almost a month the scars have calmed down a little, the blisters are healing the scabs are all but gone. I still have the asymmetry but I know that's going to even out with time.
Feeling much better psychologically but WOW what a roller coaster ride!
Anyone who wants to make me feel better about this asymmetry or scarring, please comment :)

thanks for your comment, I'm trying to be patient... harnessing my zen hahahah. I was just feeling a little discouraged, I'd read about the boobie blues but yes it's a real thing!
Hopefully they'll improve quickly and I have a follow up with my PS next week to make sure everything's healing the way it needs to!
take care :)

I think the scarring plus the asymmetry really shocked me at first. Good to know this is normal!
Thanks for making me feel better about it though. :)

I guess I wasn't anticipating the emotional part of them not looking great at first!
I'll try not to obsess and give them the time they need to heal and adjust
Thanks for your comment!!

ehi you got very good result :) . I will need a lift with my revision surgery and I don't like the idea of the scars either, I understand that, but I think the key as you said it's knowing that it's temporary and the scar won't look like this forever and it's going to give you the best outcome possible. I have looked to a lot of breast lift scar before and after, and with years they do fade a lot. I'm also checking out possible silicone gel tape to use on it( I'm doing a lot of research). I found also that there are silicone gel sheet designed for this type of scars. Keep us updated :) I wish you a speedy recovery.

15 Days Post Op
I'm just over 2 weeks out and feeling great. My breasts are softening up quite a bit, they're just still stiff in the mornings and on the top in general since they're under the muscle.
I've been able to drive for a few days now and I'm really happy to be mobile again, was feeling really fed up of asking everyone to help with everything!
Anxious to see what the scars look like but my surgeon said the tape should stay on until it falls off on its own, which I know is better for the scars in the long run so I know I can be patient for a while longer ;)

Thanks so much! The paper tape that was left on after surgery is starting to peel off so my PS told me to start trimming the loose parts and I'm really happy with what I can see so far, fingers crossed :)
Will update again soon.
