I am a 39 y.o. mother and I breastfed both my kids for a total of 48 months (2 years each), which has had a serious toll on the aspect of my breasts. From the start I always had droopy breast, even prior having babies due to genetics and successful weight loss programs (I was a heavy teenager), and I have always wanted nicer and fuller breasts. After baby No.2, I keep most of the baby weight for 1 year and a half but then lost 50 lbs (in ~8 months) by eating right and exercising on a daily basis. However my breast became totally empty and sagged even more.
In January 2018, I started to look for plastic surgeons in my area and made several appointments, already preparing myself mentally for implants even if I dreaded having a foreign object introduced in my breast areas. I pride myself of being super healthy and natural (no drinking, no smoking, no drugs, no pills, healthy eating habits, very active, only very minor health issues so far) so having implants was not initially part of my life plans. So when I found an article talking about fat transfer to the breast as an alternative to implants I became super excited and looked for surgeons performing these kind of surgery. There are not many in my area but luckily I came accross Dr Perry. Since I was still not sure about implants or fat transfer we discussed openly about the two options. I really liked how Dr Perry left me to decide what option I really wanted without putting any pressure for either one because in the end, if you think about it properly, reasonably and you get informed very well, you know what option puts you at peace and is ultimately best for you. I am now 6 days post-op from a mastopexy (breast lift) with fat transfer, it is still early to know what the final result will be but so far, so good.

I consulted Dr Perry for a breast enhancement. It is still too early to talk about the final result from my surgery but I had excellent pre-surgery meetings with Dr Perry. I will post another review concerning my surgery, my post-surgery experience and the result in a few months. I met Dr Perry three time before my surgery and could have met her as many times as necessary to take the most enlightened decision. She was open to discuss all the available options. She provided me all the answers to my questions - and I do ask a LOT of questions- without closing any door to any specific surgical approach. I have contacted several surgeons and she was definitely the one with the most understanding, humble and no b**sh** attitude.

Good for you. Also looking into fat transfer to breast. Hoe Much fat did your ps put in each breast?

She was able to put 410cc into my vertical lift. I do not expect much more than half of that to hold. She said from the start that she could get me in between a 150cc and 250cc augmentation in the end, which is absolutely fine with me.

Not more than before the fat transfer. Fat tranfer to the breast has been done for a long time now in the world (about 30 years I think), including in primarily in breast cancer survivor. There has been no association whatsover, just increased artéfacts which can be distinguished. Also, there are no cases of breast cancer in my direct family and I have tons.
I hear you. I was so worried about implants, about havind a capsule or having to do regular MRI to check whether any silicon was licking in my body, having to worry about every implact to my breast, I simply could not do it with implant, even with less scaring. The choice was easy for me, I went for fat transfer.

My breasts look so much like your before pics! I have my fat transfer scheduled for 6/14/18. I also have a small frame and I'm slightly worried because the ps doesn't think he will be ale to harvest more than 500cc total. That's 250cc per breast. Then I will schedule the lift 3 months after the fat transfer. Thank you so much for sharing!

My PS was surprised that she could harvest so much, so... who knows!

I had my one week follow-up meeting with Dr Perry yesterday. She took the bandages off and looked at the liposuccioned areas. The swelling of my legs is not as important as she was expecting (liposuccion was done on my knees, thighs, flanks and back) and my breast are healing well. I will know in 2 weeks (at the time of my next meeting) about how the scaring from the lift is evolving.

I see you started a small b cup. Do you know what your cup size is now after procedure? Did doc say what you expected cup size will be after what the expected amount of fat holds? Sorry, im kinda ignorant to this but I am interested for the same procedure (breast lift with fat transfer).

With the swelling from the surgery and most of the fat cells (non-vascularized) still around I am a full D-cup. But once the swelling goes down and only the vasculized gratted tissue remains, I should be a C-cup. I will know at ~2 months what my new size will be.
Happy to help : )

I had my 2 weeks checkup yesterday. It was scar reveal day. The healing is going well so far, the swelling of my legs is under control and the doc believes that there will be a pretty good retention. On the down side, I have noticed some asymetry in the shape of my right aureola and the right breast is also slightly lower/softer. I felt that it was healing faster. Anyway, I still have a lump in the left breast that is regressing progressively and since it is not as soft as the right one for now (more swelling), it might just need some time to catch-up with the right one. Hopefully.

That looks unexpectedly good to me! I hadn’t even considered fat transfer after so much weight loss! I’m impressed at the option being given you. Good luck in your healing process.

looks great! I just had breast Lift with fat transfer also and I’m wondering how long before we will know how much of the fat survived / final size of the breasts. Did your doctor tell you when you will know?

She told me that I will know after 2 months. From what I have read thers is a huge decrease at around 6-8 weeks.

Hi, I'm curious about the pain level with the healing process with a lift and fat transfer. Does it hurt to move around? Can you se your arms? Can you lift normal things like a pot of water? Thank you for sharing your story, it's very helpful to see others experiences.

The lipo sites are the most painful. The first days are really NOT comfortable with quite some pain, numbness and the swelling. The breasts are Ok. There is some « burning » sensation from the scaring process but it is not the bad. Now that I am past 2 weeks and the healing is going well, my PS told me that I can already take my toddler in my arms.
