Three days before surgery: After reading so many reviews on here which have helped me and answered questions I have had over the last few months, I decided I should contribute one as well :) I have debated on getting breast implants for the last ten years and have finally decided to just go for it. My surgery is scheduled in three days from now! I am excited and nervous, still wondering if I am making the right decision or not. I have chosen 445 cc , Silicone, Natrelle Medium Profile implants. I have decided to have them placed in the sub-glandular position and not in the sub-muscular position. My doctor did recommend sub-muscular for a more natural appearance and better aesthetic results over the long term but weight lifting and fitness is extremely important to me and I do not want to even risk losing strength when lifting ( even though most people regain all strength) and I do not want to have to stop training upper body for an extended period of time. I will also post long term follow up pictures as I felt I was having trouble finding photos of athletic women who had sub-glandular implants placed, starting from a very low cup size and never having breast fed. I am concerned about how tight my skin is to begin with so hopefully my story and review can help someone else one day. I will post before and after pics after surgery, along with info about the recovery.
9 Days Post Op: I am now 9 days post op and very happy with the results so far! Day 1 was manageable as I was on a lot of medication and painkillers from the surgery. I was in a very good mood and very happy to see the doctor was able to fit the 445cc. I have been put to sleep before but panicked a little and was very resistant to it this time but once I was asleep I had a nice dream about my mom for an hour :) When I woke up I was trembling alot so they gave me some medication to stop that. I spent about an hour in recovery and then my husband took me home. I watched TV most of the day but would still get out of bed to walk around. The first day really wasn't too bad. I took two regular tylenol every 4 hours. I did not use the narcotics that were prescribed at all. Day 2 was worse and Day 3 had the most pain but again, I was able to manage it with Tylenol. Day 4 and 5, I gained more mobility in my arms and by day 6 I was back at work. Day 7-8, I noticed the implants drastically reduce in swelling, the tightness on my chest is much less than it was and I went out for the first time since the operation to show them off a little :) Today is day 9 and I still will get a little pain here and there but the tightness is almost completely gone. I was so scared I would feel like I couldn't breathe with implants but I feel like I can get the same deep breath I always did. I believe that having strong chest muscles has helped with this. I will keep updating this review as I had trouble finding long term progress pics of sub-glandular implants in athletic women. All in all, so far, I am happy with my decision. ( I don't look so athletic right now with all the water retention from surgery but it is going down!)

I'm so intrigued to see before and after on this specific implant. Which is the one I chose for my surgery coming up in April
