couples of weeks post op!

As the weeks have progressed i have felt an immense change in my life. How i walk better, i breathe better, i sleep better, i even drive better because my breasts aren't in the way! The change is a crazy change, and it's truly alllll worth it!! I'm back to school full time and i'm still healing! in the photos i'll be attaching you'll see a healthy difference in my right breast, instead of being infected it's truly now just healing up! My left breast, has luckily not given me any issues of the kind that my right breast has. i'm grateful for that!... saw my doctor for my one month appointment last friday and he said everything looked great, i'm healing great and to make an appointment 6 months post op. this surgery has really improved my life for the better! it's been worth it

the real week #3!! made a mistake on my last update post!

I had a major brain fart last week, and I thought I was 3 weeks post op but TODAY marks 3 weeks post op!! I just finished my antibiotics this past Friday, and I'm happy to say that my infection is nearly gone! My left breast is almost fully healed, very minimal amount of firmness.. just a sore feeling to it. My right breast on the other hand, is still healing, I just got a bruise on the top of my breast, there is still a lot of firmness in my breast... and I haven't regained feeling in my right nipple. But the swelling has gone down, and the wound is closing up, and my infection is nearly gone! The redness has minimized itself to being just along my incision line. All in all i seem to be healing great... slowly but surely!

Week #3!!

Week number 3!! :D As week 3 progress I have actually started to feel better with my incisions. I have had enough bumps in the road, and I'm glad to say that those bumps in the road have started to subside and i'm feeling better! For sleeping I have returned to my normal sleeping positions, minus sleeping on my stomach. I don't believe I am ready for that. I started to sleep on my side from the beginning by propping up a pillow behind me to push me up, and a pillow in front of me to hold. Now I just hold a pillow in front to keep my breasts in place. While sitting on my bed, or sitting on the couch, I bought myself a bed rest pillow and that has been a lifesaver for me! My right breast has given me enough problems in the course of my healing that I didn't expect since the doctor removed more from my left than my right... but of course you can't control that, and I presume it doesn't matter how much you remove to bring on an infection/problems. I haven't regained any feeling in my right nipple/most of my breast. I'm assuming that may be caused from the swelling. My left breast I have regained all my feeling in both my breast and my nipple. All of my back pain is gone! I felt so much lighter the minute I got up from the hospital bed! With all these struggles, and the issues i'm still struggling with, it has been allllll worth it!! Just yesterday I went to Victoria's Secret to see my sister who works there, she measured me even while I am still swollen and i am a 36B/34C!!! Yay! i'm so happy! It's worth it!
