I'm so nervous about my surgery. I hope everything goes well. My surgery is in 2 days and I'm a 38 DD.I hope they Get reduced to a C cup because I wouldn't want them smaller. I also hope it helps me with my back pains. Hopefully recovery isnt so bad. Can anyone give me advice for my recovery. I would like to know if the procedure is extremely painful and does anyone have home remedies to reduce the scar appearance

I just had the procedure 7 days ago. Went from a 32G to a 32C . I wasnt in any real pain until today. Now my nerves are reconnecting and I'm swollen. Just make sure you take your pain meds and I cannot stress enough that you should TAKE IT EASY as long as you can. Good luck!

Hi. I am scheduled to have my reduction on April 28th. I am a 32 J and want to go to a full C or small D. I am 5 foot 3 and weigh around 150lbs. Sounds like recovery isn't too bad considering the procedure. Any other tips? So glad you are doing okay!

I agree take it easy, I did and I've not had any problems. Good advice!

Good to know! Thanks! Im so used to carrying around this top heavy load, I just dont want them to be too small and then be self conscious about that. Looking forward to the new wardrobe though! So tired of buying size 4 or 6 pants and large/xlarge shirts and wearing scarves to conceal them!

My other tip would be to stay on this site, join the Breast Reduction Information group on Facebook, and keep talking to other women who have had the procedure. Talking it out with others has been priceless to me during the bumpy parts of recovery. Also...BE PATIENT with your results and any setbacks you may have. It takes a long time to fully recover from this procedure and for your new breasts to settle into their natural shape.

I am not sure if you've had your surgery yet, but it is not extremely painful. In fact, I had more issues with the pain medication than I did with the pain. You will be sore and from time to time experience a temporary sharp pain but not bad. I am five weeks out from my surgery and I had already traveled, I still have some soreness but nothing I can't deal with. You will be very happy - I still can't believe how good my back, neck, breathing and general health feels! Be prepared for a new wardrobe! :). The best to you.

Yes, this takes TIME to recover from. Repeat patience and time WILL heal you and you will be very glad. Also like the others said do not try to do much of anything for a long time. Don't try to be tough and push yourself. Time is the only thing you need to give this process.
