Two Months After Rhinoplasty, I Already Feel More Confident
WORTH IT
I had my rhinoplasty at Best Self Club about two months ago to slightly lift the tip of my nose and reduce a small hump that had bothered me for a long time. It was not something I wanted to change dramatically; I just wanted my nose to look more balanced with my face, especially from the side.
Before surgery, I showed a few reference photos and explained the kind of result I had in mind. The doctor was honest about what would suit my facial structure and what might not look natural. I appreciated that because it helped me keep realistic expectations instead of expecting a perfect copy of someone else’s nose.
The surgery was done with an open technique, so I was a little worried about scarring at first, but the incision has healed much better than I expected. At this point, the scar is very hard to notice unless I really look closely.
The first couple of weeks were the hardest because of swelling, bruising, and the strange feeling of seeing my face look different. Even now, at two months, my nose is still changing and some swelling is still there, especially around the tip. But overall, I can already see that the hump is smoother, the tip looks more lifted, and my profile feels softer.
I would not say recovery was completely easy, but it has been worth it so far. I feel more comfortable in photos now, and I don’t overthink my side profile as much as I used to. I know the final result will take more time, but at two months post-op, I’m genuinely happy with the progress and glad I went through with it.
