Finally got to see my girls!
I finally got to see my new boobies and they are looking great! To me they look smaller in person than they do in the photo. I am loving how my clothes fit now!!

Day one post op
Surgery went well yesterday. I woke up quite sore and the nurse went ahead and gave me a pain pill, which must have helped because my hubby and I had dinner at Cracker Barrel. I still have not seen them yet, but they do appear much much smaller. Hubby says he thinks I will be very happy. I have mostly been sleeping since we got back to the hotel room but I woke up feeling much more sore so I went ahead and took another pain pill. I go back to the dr this morning for a dressing change so I am very excited about seeing them!

Congrats! Just take it easy for a few days. Don't pull, push or lift anything heavier than a pound or so. You'll be very happy I'm sure. happy healing!

Personal Question
Okay ladies... I have a personal question to ask. I am 5 days pre-op and it is getting close to that time of the month... I am beginning to have symptoms that it may come soon too. I am pretty irregular so I'm not positive, but I am just worried about what I will do as far as surgery goes? Would there be any problems with have the surgery while menstruating?

I read one review where her cycle came on as she was getting prepped and she just wore a pad and still had the surgery.

The day before your surgery, don't forget to drink lots of water and stay fully hydrated. That helps a lot with nausea coming out of anesthesia. Also, have a very light dinner the night before, no later that 7 pm. Some people choose steak on their last pre-op dinner for the iron in the red meat. Beef takes a very long time to digest and stays in your system well into the the next day, increasing the chance of vomiting after waking up. To make sure you have enough iron, i's best to load up on spinach, kale, lentils and broccoli instead of red meat the night before.
All the best!
