Nora Nugent Changed my Life

I met Nora in mid 2017 to enquire about a breast reduction. I suffer with Fibromyalgia which means I live with all over body pain everyday. Doing any activity became hopeless, severe depression set in and my journey of hell began, that was back in 2006. I had put on a lot of weight and my breasts had got so big and because I hated wearing a bra, and never went out they just dropped to the point they were hanging down to my belly button. I had given up trying to lose weight because the breasts would never have changed. So my first meeting with Nora was to tell her I wanted them gone. I was so distressed and desperate. Nora was amazing and so calm and caring. She explained that a reduction would help and advised me that this was a big operation and wanted to make sure that i was phsycologically ready. I went to Chichester Hospital for a different issue and when I mentioned the breast reduction and that Nora was going to do it, the wonderful things that were said about her blew me away, especially as one of the doctors I saw there told me that if ever he needed advice on anything Nora would be the person he always called. His exact words to me were “She is a brilliant surgeon and the most important thing is .... she cares, she cares about her patients and does her best for all of them”. I knew this particular doctor fairly well and to hear a review like that was fantastic. He also had a nurse assistant who had a friend who Nora had operated on and she told me how happy she was and that her experience with Nora too was amazing. Leaving that hospital with those lovely comments I had made my mind up and on 31st October 2017 I had my reduction. Nora saw me everyday while I was in hospital. When I saw the result of the operation I felt the happiest person alive. I looked amazing... I had been given exactly what I asked for and my breasts were PERFECT! My whole experience with Nora has been wonderful, my life has changed completely, I have confidence, I have lost weight and for the first time in 17 years like myself. The healing progress was so quick and Nora looked after me and was always available if I needed her. I’m pain free and have a life. One last thing to say, Nora is a fantastic surgeon, a kind and gentle person, I love her to bits, would recommend her to everyone, and tell them “SHE CARES”
