I Now Have the Nose That I've Always Wanted! - Montclair, NJ

I had a large bump on my nose that bothered me for as long as I can remember. I always knew that I wanted to get it corrected one day and a few months ago, I finally made the decision to do so. I had no hesitation going into the surgery since it was something I wanted for so long, but I was concerned what the recovery would be like. The recovery from surgery was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. There is no denying that I looked pretty scary for several days after surgery (bruised, swollen face, and had some bloody drainage for 2 days or so), but I can honestly say I did not have one bit of pain whatsoever. Many people asked me if I was glad that I went through with the surgery after all was said and done. My answer - ABSOLUTELY!!!! Knowing everything involved with a rhinoplasty that I know now, I would do it again in a heartbeat. You won't want to be out and about for about a week after surgery, but the results are so worth it. A week after surgery, I had just slight bruising (which could easily be covered by makeup ) and was back at work and able to carry on my normal every day routines.
