3rd revision is a no go

In my previous posts I was concerned regarding fat left in some areas. The good news is no more liposuction. What I am seeing is loose skin according to my PS. He is incredibly obliging and offered me a tummy tuck for 1/2 off. Not ready to take that plunge just yet, but was relieved to hear no more lipo, I am quite relieved and will wait for further results. Healing CAN take 6 - 12 months. Thank you for your responses.

Honestly I would go see another surgeon. He may be very nice man but I think you could find a better skilled dr. With the loose skin, you probably won't get the best possible results without a TT, but I just think you would be better off finding another surgeon. Make sure they are board certified in PS and do your research. Best of luck to you!!

Thank you Afnav. I have found a new PS, and she has all the credentials. My daughter had a consult with her and I tagged alonged. Showed her what I have and she said I would need a TT, and she includes a bit of liposuction too. We shall see. They are so expensive and with the 2 lipo's, well...just about broke the bank, so I will have to wait a while. Thank you Afnav.

2nd revision - 4 weeks & 17 weeks

zumbagirl10
So, I am really concerned, or maybe it's just me. I had my 1st lipo in May 20015 and it didn't have very much difference. Did a 2nd revision in November. Today I am 17 weeks from my revision date. Do you see what I'm talking about? Lines on both sides, still a ledge above my belly button. I did not opt for a tt, just too much for me. Do you think I should ask for a 3rd revision? I really don't have any money now...two lipo surgeries are pretty expensive and I just don't have it. Please let me know what you think and what you think about a 3rd revision. I LOVE my PS, but I'm not getting the results I want. I did expect to have loose skin on my tummy, but this I can grab with my hands. Ugh! Dazed and confused!

I think you should talk with your dr. I hate that you are going through all these procedures and are still not satisfied. I think a TT may have been the best route for you.

Thank you napmom. I am going to my PS tomorrow (Saturday) to discuss my options.

Gaining weight...wwhhhhaaaaatttttt?!!!

Gaining weight...wwhhhhhaaaaattttttt?!!! I had my initial lipo suction to my upper/lower abs, flanks and part of my back. My results started ok, but then went down hill. So I had my 1st revision on Nov. 17, 2015 and it looked great initially after the revision...and he did my entire back. Immediate results were good, but somehow I'm gaining weight. I watch what I eat, eating clean. I workout on my glider, but I'm still gaining weight. I was 130 going into the revision which was done Nov. 17, 2015 and as of today I now weigh 143.5!!!!!! WHAT?! I do have pics, but will have to upload. I'm not really certain what to do from here. :(

I am so sorry to hear! How frustrating for you! I wonder if the trauma of the surgeries kicked in a hypothyroid issue? Maybe that's just me since I have it. I just had lipo 2/8 since nothing I've done makes the fat disappear. Exercise made it worse. Anyway, it's hard to get it checked properly by regular MD's. But maybe it's fluid stuck in there? Goodness! Can you post in the Q&A with pics and maybe some doc's can pipe in?

Thank you MinnesotanMama. I will work on posting more pics. I can see a bit of a difference, but not like I thought. I do know my butt is bigger...which is really a blessing, because I never really had one. I will try to post as soon as possible. Thanks again!
