I have never had a flat stomach, but always wanted one or at least close to it. My anatomy actually gives me a slight curve protruding outward...so a flat stomach is not my goal. I had my sx on May 9, 2015. My PS said I am going to have a flat stomach, but I just don't see much change and I am currently at week 7 post op. I will post my before's as soon as I receive them my my PS, but for now...tell me what you think...honestly. I understand that some of us heal rather quickly and see great results fast, but I am in my upper 50's so I don't expect to heal quickly or see significant results quickly either. Am I reading into this too much too soon. Do you think I should see something better at 7 weeks (remember I'm in my upper 50's), or should I just be patient and watch the results unfold over the next several months? I have to honestly say, I did expect more by now, but I can be patient too. Your opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
P.S. I am doing my 6th lymphatic drainage massage tonight. Do you think I need more...it's quite expensive, but I'll do what I need to.

I was just wondering which dr did your procedure?? I am near monroe. Best of luck with your healing.

Dr. Christopher Kelly, he has done all my work and I love the results. The lipo is taking longer to reveal its results, but then again I'm pushing 60...close to it anyway, so I expect not to heal as quickly as others, but am anxious. He's done 2 BA's on me, a face-lift (which is WONDERFUL) and now lipo of upper/lower abs, flanks and bra areas. Dr. Kelly also practices in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area now as well...he goes in-between both places. He's also done work on other female family members and we're all very pleased with him and he's reasonably priced. Let me know if you need anything, you won't go wrong if you do select him. I'm 100% happy with his work. Good luck to you.

I also had botox on my forehead and creases between my eyebrows and around my eyes, plus voluma in my laugh lines...love it!

Without any pre op photos hard to comnent
September 16, 2015
I know, I have asked for my pre-ops several times. I know they will give them to me. I actually see my PS today. BUT, I can honestly say I looked better preop than I do now. I know I'm only about 5 months out, but the majority of my results should be just about done. I know it can take up to a year, but that is very little change from this point. I am still hopeful. Thanks chibcha, I will post my pre op pics as soon as I get them. Thanks for commenting. : )

9 Weeks PostOp, still swollen, but seeing some progress
zumbagirl10July 11, 2015
Well, it's been 9 weeks PostOp today. While I'm not seeing results as quickly as most, I am still hopeful. I have swelling in both sides, a little in the back and quite a bit in my tummy, mostly lower now, but still a bit of swelling on the upper abs. Most of my upper abs are completely flat and that's what I'm hoping for over the next few months...not counting on it, but still less. I really like my 4 week results, but now it seems I've gotten more swollen AND I've gained 5.5 lbs. I'm guessing that is due to the swelling because my healthy eating habits and my workouts are consistent. What do you all think? At 9 weeks postop do you think I should be seeing better results...I have gone backwards since 4 months...not in all areas, but most. My measurements to start were (and I warn you, I measure everything) are day of surgery preop: bust 37 3/4", waist 36", hips 36 3/4", right arm 10", left arm 10 1/4", right thigh 19", left thigh 19", right calf 12", left calf 12" and weight was 120.1. Over the next week post op, I went up to 128.5 lbs., but end of week one I was down to 112.2. Currently as of week 9 I am bust 38", waist 31", hips 36.5", right arm 10", left arm 10", right thigh 19.5", left thigh 19.5" (I think these are measuring larger because I've been doing a massive amount of squats and my muscle is really very nice and firm with definition), right calf 12", left calf 12" and my weight is 126 lbs! Oh my gosh, I didn't expect my weight to go up, but I am more swollen so hopefully that weight will go down.

10 Weeks & Counting...
zumbagirl10July 19, 2015
So yesterday was my 10 week PO. I don't know, tell me what you all think...I think I looked better at 4 weeks. Is it normal to go up and down in the areas that had lipo? I had upper and lower abs, flanks and bra areas. I'm not freaking out or anything like that, but I would think that I should see some gradual improvement. Look at my four week then look at my 10 week. What's going on? Is it really swelling. It doesn't "feel" like it's swelling. I know it can take several months to a year to see the final results, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced healing like I am. I do notice a smaller waist and some areas in my tummy and the bra areas. But, I'm wondering if I should be seeing more results? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Oh, also I am noticing a feeling of creepy crawler & warm zaps on my left side. I'm taking it this is the nerves and tissues healing. Am I right?
July 25, 2015
Yes, I felt the exact thing you've described, that "creepy crawler" feeling when my nerves and tissues (in my legs) were healing after lip. I'm 55, but the way. And I must say, I think you look freaking amazing! Can't believe you aren't in your 30s!!!

Thank you fivekids10! I am almost 59, and I'm doing my best to stay as healthy and young looking as I can.

I do see improvement. I think patience is needed especially as we age. Good luck and happy healing!
Thanks for starting a review and for posting pics! I wouldn't panic about your results just yet- it can take months to fully heal. Keep us posted on if you decide to do more massages and if you start to see any more results.
Did you see some results immediately after the procedure, before the swelling set in? It seems like most people get a glimpse of what their results will look like then. I hope you start to see results soon :) Everyone is different but what I see on the site is usually at least 3 months on average. Keep us posted. Happy holiday weekend to you too!
