So Far, Seems to Help …

I went through breast cancer treatment at age 57, which involved chemo, and I am now taking letrozole, because my tumor was weakly estrogen positive. I have been suffering from serious vaginal dryness/atrophy. Sex has been out of the question, and I have gotten UTIs, which are probably related. I possibly could use the Estring treatment, which I had used before diagnosis, but I wanted to try something nonhormonal. I have had my first of three treatments, and I am actually noticing a difference. The treatment is short, it’s not that uncomfortable, and if this helps me, I will be very happy. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend that a friend who is dealing with vaginal dryness/atrophy to consider this option. Will update after I complete the set of three treatments, which are spaced three weeks apart.
