Tummy tuck, breast lift w/implants and Lipo
4 weeks post op and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel :)
Week 1 - Was about what I expected.
Week 2 - Awful!! Emotionally and physically. I always thought I have a high pain tolerance and a somewhat patient person...WRONG!!
Week 3 - Panic!!! Because I didn't listen to my advice in week 2 and over did things I pulled stitches in my left breast. Breast wound looks awful.
Week 4 - Tummy tuck scar looks really good. Left breast looks much better and right breast looks great (belly button is ok) . Still wearing compression bra and ab wrap/girdle. Started using silicone sheets on my tummy scar and silicone gel around the nipples.. anchor incision is not ready for scar therapy. I bought Scaraway sheets and Silagen gel.
I love the sheets they go on quick and you don't have any wait time to get dressed.
A few things I wish I had known before surgery.
Whoever posted the youtube video I watched suggesting the lift chair...Thank you
Ladies, this is a must. It really made week 1 and 2 much easier on me and my family. Buy your nonstick bandages and ABP pads at a medical supply store. It's half the prices of a drug store/Walmart.
Do not buy spanx or compression garments in advance if you do go bigger plus a size, I normally wear Med - but needed XL (Joyshaper on Amazon $17.99). I found the old fashion high rise girdles to be the most comfortable. AVIA sports bra zipper front are my favorite.

What is the time frame you were given to wear the special materials?

Dr said I could stop wearing tummy compression, but everything I've read and others who have had TT say to wear it as long as you possibly can for best results. I did go without it for a full day last week, but I was swollen and retaining fluid by the end of the day. I have my 6 week PO on the 27th, so I'm going to wear it until then. As for the compression bra he still has me wearing it 24/7.

6 weeks PO

Breast are still a little sore. It looks and feels like the right breast has dropped into place. It's softer and more comfortable than the left right now. The change/difference from right to left is not so noticeable visually but really noticeable to the touch. Incision under left breast looks much better but still treating it, right breast incisions are completely healed. I'm out of sports bras but still instructed to wear a non wire bra 24/7. After 6 weeks you get so use to wearing one it actually feels strange to go without a bra. Very pleased with my results so far. Tummy tuck is ok... as far as the surgical side it's wonderful - PS did an amazing job. The incision for 6 weeks PO looks great. I'm still not sure I would do the TT again. There will have to be a significant change in order for me to say it was worth it. Adding before and after pics.

13 months and my initial excitement and wow has faded and the final result is disheartening. Since my surgery I haven’t felt good. My upper stomach swelling is tender at best but very painful and uncomfortable most days... sex/orgasams are painful (and this was never a problem pre TT). And my breast.. well just kinda...ehhh. I was very clear (actually showed pictures) of what I didn’t want.. and that’s exactly what I ended up with. Left is noticeable larger and the lift could have been better. I’ve tried discussing with my PS but he’s dismissive and doesn’t address any of my issues. Is it even normal that he hasn’t done a physical exam since my surgery?? This entire process has been physically and mentally exhausting and I truly regret it.
