Why the Vertical Scar from Belly Button?

I had a breast lift and tummy tuck about 8 months ago in July 2022.

After the surgery on a few occasions I tried to get answers from my surgeon as to why he deviated from the pen drawings on my pre op appointments and my wishes for a very neat scar.

He has left me with a vertical scar from my belly button and claims it was due to not enough skin to pull down. None of this was discussed prior to treatment and now I am at a loss for what to do next.

The surgeon got very defensive on my last contact with him and asked me If I was accusing him of a botched procedure.

Now I'm no expert but he definitely failed in achieving his aims as per the pre op markings and failed my expectations, leaving me with saggy skin still above my belly button, a vertical scar a deformed right nipple areola.

I have attached photos for some feedback and hope for good guidance on how to rectify his mistakes.
