3rd and 4th seroma draining
I'm a little behind on posting since l worked all weekend. I had my 3rd seroma draining this past Friday and it was 300 ml. My 2nd draining was this past Wednesday and it was 635 ml. So, on Friday was happy it was 300!! I went back again today and Dr. Green drained 170 ml. It is FINALLY slowing down and the swelling to my lower abdomen dramatically went down as well. My stomach is almost completely flat now!!! Tomorrow is 3 weeks to the day. I am feeling so much better and my energy levels have finally returned. I'm really thankful that Dr. Green has always found the time for me, he's even waited for me after his surgeries for the day. Even though my first couple days were horrible I'm still happy l chose Dr. Green. He is an amazing surgeon and one of the kindest people l have ever met.

I'm so glad you're feeling better! I've thought about you and how you've had a rough go.. I had my TT May 12 and also wound up having issues with my belly button (necrosis) (I know it pales in comparison to some of the other issues) but definitely sucks when you have complication. I just had my first wound care appointment yesterday where they removed most of the dead tissue so hoping it starts to finally heal. I hope that seroma heal up soon for you! Do they think they'll have to do more drainage or k they think they finally got it? Ughh this is definitely no picnic is it?!? Well you're looking great and hoping for more updates to see your progress . Thanks for sharing your journey with Us all ;)
^ I second this! I’ve been watching for updates too. I hope you’re doing better!!
Oh I'm so thankful the fluid is going down. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with such a rough recovery. I hope from this point on everything will get better and better for you. I'm happy you're feeling better too. Take it easy, rest and heal, lots of prayers.

Second seroma drainage
Hi ladies! I had my second seroma drainage last night and it was still a lot. Last week it was 660 ml total and this week it was 635 ml. I really wish Dr. Green would put a drain in so l dont have to keep going back and forth to have it drained. 635 ml is roughly just over two cups of fluid and it's uncomfortable. In one day l have already built up more fluid. Im going to call and see if he can drain it again tomorrow before the weekend. It's starting to get a little discouraging. Last Sunday l was feeling great! I went grocery shopping with my 2 year old and l was headed back to the registers when l had this intense burning pain on my incision line. If l put counter pressure on it, it went away but l had to hold constant pressure there. Not too easy one handed, with a full cart and a toddler. I made it back home and it took 3 days of me applying pressure before l could walk without the added support. I brought it up to Dr. Green and he said l probably pulled a stitch but not to worry since there are so many stitches in there. Glad that pain is over though! I'm just taking each day as it comes. I'm supposed to work this weekend and I'm a bit worried I'm going to injure myself but l need to go back to work. I'm ready for this whole seroma thing to be over already, it's really a pain in my ass lol!

Oh man that's a lot of fluid. Sounds like he should've put a drain. I hope and pray things get much easier from here out. Rest as much as possible, healing thoughts and prayers for you.
