My Mommy Makeover Journey PreOp tomorrow

3 weeks Post Op

WORTH IT$20,000
This is the first week without help. My mom went home Sunday night and it’s just me and the kids. I’m trying to not feel overwhelmed, but I believe I am overwhelmed. I’m in school getting my masters online and I went back to work last week. I do work from home so I can lie down when I need to but it’s still a lot. I feel more tired and sore now than I did a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure it’s because I’m doing more, so I am making it a point to listen to my body. Unfortunately due to deadlines with scholars work, that’s not always possible. I feel bloated and uncomfortable most of the day and I think I’m gaining weight (I haven’t been on the scale yet). That enough venting for today. Let’s move on to some pictures. How is everyone else doing? Is it just me?

glad I came across your page. story sounds similar but I had 3 c sections and I don't want implants but I want life and tummy tuck and lipo of flanks.. curious though is it similar to c section pain or worse.. also how is it going for you...
It’s different. I didn’t have any pain with the tummy tuck incision. I had horrible pain during the first couple of weeks if I coughed, sneezed or laughed from the muscle repair, but it didn’t last long. The liposuction caused the worst pain. It’s going pretty good for me. I am 4 weeks post op and I’m finally feeling like I’m getting back to normal. I can stand up straighter, but by the end of the day I find myself hunched over because of swelling and tightness of my abdominal muscles. I have a couple spots that are slow to heal, one under my right breast and the other in my belly button. Overall, I feel that I’m doing pretty good. Thanks for asking.
Great. Thank you. Praying for a speedy recovery for you
Thanks for posting your experience! Your results look great! I bet you love how perky your boobs are without implants! How are you feeling now?
I feel great! I will post new pictures. I’m still numb under my belly button and I still swell at night or when I do too much. I’m able to workout without pain, even abs.
Awesome news! Can you share how you went about getting back into exercising?
That was really hard. My abs felt funny when I worked out for about a year then I just got used to it I guess.
Your results are awesome great work from the surgeon and you healed well also. What is that white residue on the incision sites does it help with healing
I think it's like a surgical glue to keep the incisions closed. It feel off on its own, kind of like a steri-strip.

Post-Op day 11 (Mother’s Day)

I am feeling better everyday and am getting out more. I went grocery shopping yesterday and had to ride on the Hoover rounds. By the time I got home I was exhausted and swollen. My back is still bruised and tight. It causes the worst pain. I’m extremely thirsty all of the time still, even though I’m not on the pain medicine throughout the day. I can’t eat much due to feeling stuffed. Today we went to Pappadeaux’s for Mother’s Day. It was an hour and fifteen minute wait. By the time we got to the table, I ate some bread and butter, drank 2 glasses of lemon water and was uncomfortably stuffed and ready to go home to my bed. I was in so much discomfort that we asked for the check and to go boxes when the meal came. On a positive note, I looked amazing in my dress.

Looking good!!!! You have to really take it easy. I know I would feel pretty good and try to get out of the house to cure a little cabin fever... and regret it later. I definitely understand. Take it easy, you are doing so much better than I was at this time and looking great!
The doctor told me I was feeling better than most at this stage. I went back to work today (I work from home). I may need a few more days off.
You look amazing! I am having the same procedure as you on June 20th. Your breast look great, and now I’m feeling hopeful that having a lift with no implant will still produce a great result.
Thank you. Dr. Nguyen is amazing. I am very happy with my results. I wish you great results and an easy recovery!
You look incredible in that yellow dress!
Thank you

Post-Op day 8 **Drains out**

I had my first post op appointment and my drains were removed. You don’t realize what a burden the drains are until they are removed. Dr. Nguyen said I was healing nicely and will continue to see results over the next few months. He was very happy with my results and so am I. I am still walking a little bent over especially by the end of the day. The swelling was very bad today because of all he activity of going to the doctors office and back. I feel good by I was told to continue to take it easy and don’t over do it. The pictures are of my breast incisions with wound cream.
