After my first visit with Dr, he said I…

After my first visit with Dr, he said I could shower. I was too scared to do anything so I still washed up and had my first shower about a week or week and few days. He wanted a followup meeting 2 weeks later.
He really pulls tight!!. Extra skin is gone and no T in my lower abdomen. My belly button is off centered, which he did mention day of surgery. Silly ol me didn't even ask if will it be centered after surgery. Welp, it wasn't. Not sure if it can be. I will ask my next visit (3rd visit post). Also my left boob was lower than my right before surgery and it still is. I am hopeful they both will drop the same after a few months. 450cc hp silicone was put on both sides.
Second visit at 2 weeks. He examined me and told me to start massaging my right boob more aggressively. It was still a bit higher than the other. My lower abdomen was rock hard from pushing myself to stand up straight to fast. He also removed the tap and sutures from under my boobs. Scar looks great. Had I known that, I would have taking my meds. I still had plenty at this point and only used when needed. Belly is still very very puffy but in due time it will go away. I asked about some silicone strips called Scar Away to put on the TT scar to make to scar lighter and less puffy. He said just good old fashion cocoa butter and vitamin E will do (which is what I was using to begin with anyway). He also said it mostly is based off of genetics. He'll take out the sutures in my TT the next visit. Thanks for the heads up! I think I may still try the strips after he takes the sutures out. TT still needs some love. I also asked about my bubbly belly button (or at least it seems bubbly to me). He said since I don't have much skin to poke it in, it just sits there and is not going to look like my God given belly button.. I'm hopeful this will get better with time as well. What do you think? Does it look normal or nah? I know it's still early and swollen. Don't get me wrong, it is WAY better looking than the way it was before. I was expecting a cute belly button as I did in the pictures on his website, but then again none of the girls were as thin as me. I sometimes wear my belly bandit that I had from after pregnancy. They do not recommend, as it does not cover the whole belly. But it is much sturdier that the one they give you. That is very flimsy as this point and they do not provide another.
Thankfully my job is understanding and have been working from home. I took off a few days after surgery and I also got a doc note pre-surgery to work from home until 3/13. I have a desk job and only come in the office 2x a week and work from home the rest of the week. The best! But now at 3 weeks post-op, I am still walking like an old lady. Dr told me to bend more and stop pushing myself to stand straight. Let it happen naturally. Sucks.
I spent 2 weeks at my parents house, while my husband and mom-in-law where at my house with my babies. So after my second doc visit, I was back home with babies and hubby. A bit frustrating when I can't pick up my 11month old (soon to be 1 y/o 3/9!!) I've been trying to take it easy. Still able to fix dinner, feed my babies and play. Just get tired a sooner.
Oh I forgot to mention I got a nipple reduction. My nipples were very droopy and I always had an issue with large nipples. So I thought the diameter would be smaller but that was not the case. My husband had to remind me the Dr did explain this in one of the pre-op meetings but I guess I missed that because I was too excited about getting boobs. I was hoping for cute small nipples to that poke out (not too much though). Maybe I can get a revision. I do still have boob greed. I had this prior to my surgery, but I went with the doc's strong recommendation. He is the professional and has been doing this for a very long time now. I just wanted to be bigger than I was with my padded bras or when I was breast feeding. My whole life I never had big boobs so I was ok with having big boob problems. He really does like to look at the big picture, years down the road. Plus he didn't know if they would fit. Maybe I can get a revision if I am still not satisfied in 6 months :)
Sorry for the long posts but I'm trying to catch up 3 weeks worth of info and be as descriptive as possible. I promise posts to come will not be as long. I'm here to help, so if you have any questions please let me know.
First couple of pics are before babies and others are from weeks 1-3. Will update again after my next visit this Monday.

Starting from the beginning.. I chose Dr.…

Starting from the beginning..
I chose Dr. Tattelbaum because simply put, I trust him. He took the time to go over all issues that could happen, he gives you realistic expectations and recommendations, Pei (his assistant) and his staff are really professional and pleasant to work with. I just got a great vibe from him.
Appointment was 2/10/17 at 9am. The surgery center called me the day before my appointment to tell me what time to come in and what/ what not to do prior. Which I pretty much knew already from all the paperwork the Dr provide and you guys! No eating after 12am the night before, have someone to drive you home, wear loose clothing etc. Showed up for appointment, greeted by the nice bubbly front desk assistant, read and filled out a bunch of paperwork. Dr came in to greet me and pretty much tell me everything that was on the paperwork. They took me straight back, changed my clothes, Dr drew on me and took some pictures, they put the IV in me, and off I was to the surgery room. Everyone was so nice. It reminded me of the times when I had my c-sections but this was WAY less nerve wrecking. I wasn't really nervous. All I remember we were talking about my kids then they but a mask on me and that's it.. I don't remember feeling any pain when I woke up but I was out of it. I remember 2 things.. as they were putting on my pants on, I asked how many cc's LOL and my husband carrying me out of the truck when we got home. Not sure what time I left the surgery center.
Dr called me twice later that day to check on me. Wasn't expecting that but I liked he cared that much. The next few days were torture! I have a high tolerance for pain but was really regretting getting a TT.. boobs, I could deal with. Took my meds as I was instructed and had a drain pump. Mine didn't have much blood, as I didn't have much skin to begin with.
Dr wanted to see me four days later. He took off bandages, removed the pump, took a look in the mirror, and answered any questions. Super quick. Looking in the mirror wasn't very pleasant, but that was to be expected.
A few things that are a must after surgery:
- Someone that you feel comfy to help you ( use the bathroom, keep track of meds, help you up, help with food)
- Walker (my mom already had one I used). This made life so much easier.
- A toilet seat with handles on the side (my mom also had this from a previous surgery). I don't know what it's called but it sits on top of a regular toilet.
- Stool softeners. I start taking this 3 days prior to surgery. You will be backed up from meds. My first BM was 4 days after.
- Palmers tummy butter with vitamin E. Started using this a week or 2 prior to surgery. This helped me with my pregnancies (twins and single). I came out with no stretch marks.
- Recliner with lots of pillows.
- Bending straws for drinks.
Things that are optional. This is more to make you feel a little better. This is long healing process, so you will be stuck in the house for a while:
- Nice scented candles.
- Cute loose fitting pants pajamas.
- Scented lotion. Just put some on my arms and not around the incisions.
I didn't buy any bras. They provide you with a white bra that opens from the front, a binder for your tummy and compression band to wear above your boobs to make them drop. From the pictures, I need a lot of dropping.
Pictures are 5-7 days post.

Slim 31 y/o, 3 kids, TT full muscle repair, BA 450cc hp, mommy makeover

Recovery is going well. Today marks 3 weeks since my surgery. I found this site very helpful to me so I wanted to return the favor. I also found it very hard to find someone that looked like me with a slim build. So I am sharing my story. A bit late, but better late than never.
Let me first start with my stats. I am a mom of 3 kids (almost 3 y/o twins and almost 1 y/o) both by c-section. I am 5'5 125 lbs. I was am the same weight as I was pre-pregnancy. I breast feed the twins (no formula at all) for a whole year and single for 7 months. I was a 34b pre-preg and boobs deflated to 34aa. Kids literally sucked the life out of them. Also, had some extra skin, severe muscle separation and a belly button that was droopy. I never thought of doing this surgery but I did recently tell my husband he needed to give me back my boobs. I never took it seriously until he actually took it upon himself to schedule a consultation. Immediately I was excited and thought why didn't I do this sooner?? From that point on, I a booby stalker on youtube and this site. I couldn't sleep b/c I was so excited.
Long story short, I met with 4 different docs and really liked Dr. Tattelbaum right away. It was a bit intimidating at first, as he explained all the precautions and everything. He explained that I may have T scar if my skin could not stretch enough. First visit we tried sizers. Now, I never had big boobs in my life. My grandmother, mom and sister all do but it skipped right over me.. so I wanted to be a little top heavy but natural. Small D cup. Dr strongly recommended not to go to heavy based off of the size chart and health issues later down the line. So by the second visit, we decided to go with 450cc hp silicone. Of course I wanted bigger but doc STRONGLY recommended not going any bigger. I had to order sizers (I think that's what it's called) so he should "stretch" my chest to see if it would actually fit.
Any ladies out there that are my size and went through a BA and TT.. thinking of getting either?
