Two Days Post-Op
My surgery was Tuesday morning. The first day after surgery was the hardest as the numbness wore off and the pain was more noticeable. I’m feeling a lot better today. I have less pain. There is still a lot of the stinging and burning sensations when I walk around but it’s not bad. Everything is still pretty tight. I had some liposuction as well. Getting in and out of the compression garment is pretty tough but it was worth doing so I could take a shower. I got a stool for the shower and I don’t think I could have taken a shower without it. My back hurts from being hunched over with the tummy tuck. It felt so good to be able to sit in the shower.

I'm scheduled for a mommy makeover on Tuesday, August 30th. I had previously seen Dr. McIntosh for a burn ten years ago so I decided to book a consultation for a mommy makeover with him. Dr. McIntosh and his staff are just as wonderful as I remembered from years ago. I decided to book my surgery date right away. He does such a great job of explaining everything and answering ALL of my questions. The staff is sweet, responsive, and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Dr. McIntosh and his staff.
