Four months later

Four months later and I’m still not satisfied with my results:(. My stomach looks like it has been butchered and my boobs are lopsided.

24 days post op

Some of my swelling has gone down a little and am able to stand almost straight.

19 days post op

I'm still swollen and stitches still seem to be pulling when I move from sitting a position to standing. I'm getting tired of sleeping in my recliner, I tried sleeping in the bed didn't work out. I don't think I was mentally prepared for this Mommy Makeover and the hard recovery :( I'm so over it. I quit my second job today because I just don't need that extra stress and my body needs to recover.

Dr Smith was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He has done some work on some of my family members and they all have great results! ***UPDATE*** My experience was great, all of his staff was very professional and nice. ***UPDATE*** Dr. Smith was very nonchalant about the surgery, as far as telling me it wasn't a big deal and I could go back to work the following week after surgery. A Mommy Makeover is a major surgery and I think he could have stressed that more. My results are not what I expected, I didn't expect to wake up with a big roll around my stomach after being told I was going to be flat and I'm not. I was told by Dr. Smith "You need to diet and exercise to get your results" Well it that was the case I wouldn't have gotten a tummy tuck, I would have just went with the breast augmentation and saved myself a few $1000 dollars. I lost 35 pounds prior to surgery and I eat healthy. I have seen people with a bigger stomach than me and come out of surgery with a more flatter appearance than I did. My stomach is lopsided like he didn't remove enough skin from one side. I have been very depressed after this surgery. I just think it was a waste of money and I don't have money for a revision surgery, he should have gotten all the extra skin when I was there September 14th. I feel like he should have been straight up with me about my stomach. I am not super happy about my breast augmentation either but I can deal with that by wearing a good bra but those are very different sizes. He needs to give out doctors statements for $9800 so that you are able to be off work to recover property from such a big surgery, weather its elective or not!
