33 years old and wanted to feel confident in my own body. Along with muscle repair. I opted to have a complete mommy makeover in one day instead of breaking it up into different surgeries. I selected my surgeon by recommendation from one of my clients who had a breast lift. Dr. Chen was upfront and honest with me what to expect (realistically) a true artist!
Surgery was completed on 7/2/18
Breast didn’t give me any trouble at all! Minimal pain. Lipo I think was worse. Four sights on my back one on my groin and two near my arm pit. The tummy tuck incision goes around to the back so laying/sitting has been very uncomfortable. Mons pubis was extremely swollen which freaked me out! I didn’t expect to see it like that ????

Wow...you look great! Your b/f pic looks much like me. I'm scheduled for 8/8 for TT w/lipo of flanks & back up to bra line. I wanted to have a BR & lift done at the same time but my PS said that would be too much and to break-up the surgeries into stages. I trust what he is said but very disappointed that I could not do the BR. Did you try a recliner? I've read many other PS post and many have said a recliner was a life saver. Hope you continue to have a good recovery and good results.

I had a full tummy tuck with lipo to abdomen/flank/bra line/ arm pit with breast lift and fat transfer. TBH it was a lot to handle but I’m stubborn and did everything at once. I’m in really good health so my PS was confident that I wouldn’t have an issue. A recliner is a must! I slept in it for about 13 days. My bf was home with me the first week and was a blessing! The leaking from lipo was gross to me and felt ashamed he had to help me. But I think we have become even closer through all of this.

Thanks again for your post. Gurl, don't be ashamed of the fact that he cares about you and was willing to help you...that is something really good and special.

I have a recliner in my bedroom that I plan to sleep in. I initially was going to sleep downstairs in my lower level for most of my recovery because I have a full kitchen and bedroom down there(in-law suite) but think I will stay down there the 1st night and then make my way upstairs (with help and slowly) to my bedroom so that I can sleep in the recliner. How long did your surg take? If you don't mind sharing.

My PS surg said he anticipates my surg to take about 4-4.5 hrs. and he didn't want me under anesthesia any longer than that and I'm in excellent health.
When he said to me I was thinking dang my TT and lipo must like some sort extreme case! But we will see I hope I have a good outcome. I'm trying to look really good in time for my Son's wedding in late Sept. This PS would be the 4th PS I consulted with. I had gone so far as to schedule and cx with two other PS's. So it's now or never for the new me/Mother of the Groom!

My surgery was only 5 hours for everything and in recovery for 1.5 hours. I saw my PS all on recommendation from one of my clients. He was the only one I went and talked to! He was matter of fact and straight to the point. Stairs weren’t a problem for me after the first two days. I had two drains in and came out after 6 days.

My breast are looking fantastic! Very natural and perky. I was nervous of loosing sensation in my nipples but fear not! Still being very cautious with the girls. I showed them last night to my bf and definitely got his approval ;)
My tummy has a puffy area above my BB. met with my surgeon and he said it was flat after surgery and we may need to have a revision. Not too worried at this point. It’s not even been 4 weeks post op so I’m hopeful to let my body heal more.
Went back to work after 15 days off. I’m a fully booked stylist and I should have had 3 weeks off but I always feel like I let my clients down when I’m not there. Luckily I have shampoo help and that’s been a blessing!

How did you feel after you got back to work that 1st wk? I plan to be off from wk from about 3 wks post surg. I hope that when I do go back I won't be going back too soon. I'll listen to my body and if it turns out ot be too soon I'll just take more time off/wfh.

First week was hell. I even had exparel added and everything still hurt. By 2nd week I was moving much better. I even drove at 11 days. You should be good with 3 weeks. I’m 3 1/2 post op now and I feel really good! Are you a stylist as well?

Feeling pretty good!

Took new pics this morning. I am absolutely loving my new body. So far I’m swelling a lot after work (full time stylist) I’m still numb from my bb down to my mons. It’s only been 3 1/2 weeks and I’m lucky to be this far along.

Glue is still on my tummy and no open sights ????????. Starting to get feeling in my back we’re lipo was done as well.
