46 days to go!
I finally got the go ahead from my surgeon and a date. I changed my mind a few days ago though and have decided to go ahead with a mini tummy tuck and thigh lift, instead of breast lift and implants. I will go separately for the boobs at a later date.
So the breakdown for my surgery cost wise is as follows:
Mini tummy tuck & thigh lift: £4380
Return flights for 2 people: £278
6 extra nights hotel after surgery: £350
1 extra person staying at clinic with me: £270
2x Covid-19 testing on entry to Latvia: 160Euro
I fly to Riga from Luton airport on the 2nd August, once I arrive we have to have a Covid-19 test done either at the airport or at the hotel. The following day when our results are back I then go for my pre-op tests and check into the clinic. On the 4th I'll have my surgery and recover in clinic with my Husband for a couple of days, before being discharged back to the hospital. I'll be able to contact my care team during my stay and will have follow-up appointments as needed.
On the 11th I'll have a final check over, and on the 12th I'll fly home to finish my recovery.
I'm excited and nervous. I had a tummy tuck done in Poland 7 years ago and was never happy with the results once the initial excitement wore off and the long last effects became apparent, so I'm excited to get that rectified and finally feel comfortable in my own skin.

Before pics
I’m feeling down today. I just want this surgery done now. I’m seriously considering adding in a thigh lift too.
Problem is I look ok in clothes when I’m standing up. It’s when I’m in any other position or not wearing much it really bothers me.
Anyway, here’s some before pics!

Going to Riga for Mini Tummy Tuck with Breast Uplift & Implants.
I have a bit of a history with surgery, so I'll start at the beginning.
7 1/2 years ago I flew to Poland for a tummy tuck and liposuction to my legs. The surgery initially appeared to be a success but as time passed and healing continued it became very apparent it was not successful and damage had been done. The liposuction to my legs made no difference at all apart from to leave my legs lumpy and scarred. The tummy tuck scar was quite wide and I was left with a ridge on the front of my stomach, loose skin left over and dog ears at the sides. My body felt like it'd been ruined.
A pregnancy later, and a ton of other health issues and my weight piled on. I tried everything, spending thousands on personal trainers and special diets and Drs etc to try and lose the weight but it just wouldn't shift and my health continued to go downhill. So last September (2019) I decided to fly to Riga in Latvia to have gastric sleeve surgery with Weight Loss Riga. It was an amazing experience and you can read about my journey here on Real Self - https://www.realself.com/review/sleeve-gastrectomy-uk-latvia-gastric-sleeve
I am now getting close to my goal weight and size. And I'm looking to get my previous botched tummy tuck fixed. I spoke to Mim at Cosmetic Surgery Riga and she forwarded my pictures and details on to the surgeon there, who has assessed them and said I'd be an ideal candidate for a mini tummy tuck, scar revision and breast lift with implants which can all be done in one surgery.
Total price quoted was £5300 although I will want to stay in Riga a bit longer so that will cost an extra £300-350. Including the flights over there and spending money I am going to budget £6000 all in.
Obviously with the Covid-19 situation I am unable to book a date for surgery yet, but as soon as the situation calms down I'll be booking in. :)
