I was referred to Dr. Becker for my explant and breast lift by two of his former patients. My consultation went smoothly and I was called later with a cost estimate. No matter which Dr (I would absolutely recommend getting your estimates emailed to you for reference however having been in the plastics industry things can vary like hospital/OR and anesthesia fees which are independent from the dr fees). The soonest he had available was 7 months out from my initial consultation. They are a very busy office and his patients fly in from all over.
Dr.s bedside manner was kind and professional. He’s down to earth and approachable and took the time to explain things to me in a way I could understand.
I elected to do a tummy tuck with diastasis repair to my muscle wall along without liposuction along with my explant and lift.
Note: my implants were placed over the muscle and because I already had natural volume my areolas stretched out after I fluctuated in weight and breast fed two babies. I had 2 out of 3 drs explain to me that I would most likely be left with “retained areolas” and that I could get the left over areola strips removed after I heal. I’m going back in the OR for a touch up in October (one year after my initial surgery) and I cannot wait to be a complete case.
The hospital was clean and the staff professional.
Iona was wonderful and was always available to answer my questions and I had many especially in the days after my surgery.
I’m so pleased with my results and I have more confidence in myself. I also feel inspired to take better care of my body and have been much more motivated in the gym! In my before and after photo I am shown 15 pounds lighter from the removal of implants and excess skin plus clean eating and exercise 4-5 days a week once cleared to do so. The after photo side by side is 7mo. Post op.
My only problem now is that my husband can’t keep his hands off of me! :). I don’t miss my old heavy implants. I feel so much better not having plastic and silicone inside me.
Thank you Dr. Becker, Iona and their entire staff!

My areola revision was 1.5 WKS ago. Nearly 1 year post initial explant and lift. I’m so glad to have the retained areola finally removed. I’ll update those photos in the next 3-6 months. So far so good!
