I’m a year and a half post op and my belly button is still off to the side, he did say it would eventually go back into place but it hasn’t. My scar looks botched and ugly so the tummy tuck was pointless because I can’t wear a two peace swimsuit ever. The liposuction was okay he left a lot of back fat behind and it’s so uneven. His bed side manner is great, his staff is amazing but his skills are not the best. definitely regret paying almost $17,000.00

Botched tummy tuck scar

This is a my tummy tuck scar, one side goes really low and the other is high up and the middle part goes up pulling up my pubic area. I still try and use ointments to lighten the scars but I’ve had no luck.

All people heal differently and scars are so hard for anyone to determine the outcome . Did you talk to our surgeon about scar revision ? Maybe that can help ? Good luck and keep up posted .

I did and he insisted that it was beautiful, yet I have multiple plastic surgeons in Denver calling it botched.

I would def look into scar revision. Most times it can be done in office under local sedation. Your scars can heal differently based on if you had healing issues. Sometimes I think some Dr may say botched bc in turn they make money correcting it, just my thought. I honestly feel it's hard to judge as we have no before pictures to compare to? A lot of ladies swear by Biocorneum on old and new scars. Good luck.

Just remember the scars do not define you and you're still beautiful.
That said I understand your disappointment after all you went trough. I agree with the others about revision maybe you can find a trusting doctor and find resolution . I know a gal who has had revisions and the surgeon that did the revision had her wear paper tape for 4 months to prevent tension which causes wider scarring . Good luck .

Hey I had a bad scar too and I use a medical grade tape for 6 months and 90% improved . The tape is a bit expense but u can use the same strip for 4 weeks

Hi, I did and he gave me a phone consultation, he never made it to the phone so I talked to his scheduling person who said she’d email me a quote so he’s charging me for his mistake… I’m still waiting on my quote.

He never made it on the phone, we were suppose to FaceTime and he canceled. I spoke with the patient coordinator and she said she’d email me a quote, I was surprised he’s actually charging me for his mistake, and number two I still haven’t received the quote, or appointment date.
