So, I'm 3 days shy of my 6 week mark. The incision at the T of my right breast still isn't healing like I'd like. It literally looks as fresh as the day he removed the stitches...and bigger. My doctor looked at it and continues to say it's normal. My tummy tuck incision is healing. I have one more spot that is trying to close up. My doctor said after 6 weeks he has no more restrictions on me. I will start working out again. I've been ready, I just haven't had time.
So, now for the issues. Today I went for my endermologie massage. When I got there there was a girl at the counter. I stood there waiting to check in and she tried to act like I wasn't standing there. After a few minutes I asked her if I needed to wait for someone else to check me in. She said yes. So I stood there for another 5 min and then asked her if I should sit until whoever could check me in came. She said yes. I paid $20K for this surgery, to work with these people...the least they could do is greet the patients. Damn! I've had a few scheduling get issues as well. They tell me my appt is at one location, time or date, and it's different when I arrive. That's happened 4 different times. I sent my doctor and email to let him know my frustrations with the front desk. We will see what his response is.
Good news is that I feel like I'm pretty much back to normal at this point. I can lift my child, though I'm still careful of the spots that are still healing. But overall I feel great.

I'm 24 days post op and I feel pretty good. I still have swelling in my stomach that makes it look like a little pot belly sometimes, but everyone that sees me says "you look like you lost so much weight". And I say "really?" Lol. I'm not telling anyone outside of those that helped with my recovery that I had surgery. That's my business.
My scars are healing and the scabs are falling off. I had 2 days where my belly button smelled funky and was leaking. My doctor said it was normal and now it seems to be fine, so I'm not worried about it. When I started my endermologie massages in week 2 of recovery, the lady was going over my scars and said a little bleeding was normal. I had a different lady (an older lady who has worked at the office for 14 years) and she said she shouldn't be going over my scar if it hasn't healed yet. And she made a note for next time I have the ot jgg error girl. I was annoyed by that because I asked the massage girl if she was sure it was normal and I asked my doctor. And I feel like it was causing my scar to peel prematurely and not heal as nicely as it should. I'm going to bring this up at my next appt with him. The older lady also had really good technique. She was gentler and it didn't hurt. So not all massage people are created equal.
My daughter is back home with me. That has been interesting because she is 2 and likes to jump all over me and lay on me and c wants me c to pick her up. I have held her, but I have her climb on the bed and she holds on to my neck. I don't pick her up from the floor or anything. But I try not to even do that because I noticed that I was swollen and sore those nights that I did hold her.
The T of my incision on my breast is taking its time to heal as well. It started bleeding ( probably because my daughter is rough with me) and my doctor told me it is the last to heal and to put neosporin on it. It stopped the bleeding but it still bist a normal scab. It's like a yellow color.
Otherwise, all is well. I went back to work a week after surgery just to test the waters. I had 2 weeks off, but I wanted to see if I could walk the 2 blocks from my garage. I was OK overall. I was just tired so I only did half days that week. Now I back to full time and I'm fine.

11 days post op and it's going by very…

11 days post op and it's going by very quickly. Yesterday I moved from my recliner in the downstairs guest room to my bed upstairs. I probably could have done this days ago, but I had gotten comfortable and used to the recliner. Last night was my first time laying completely flat in the bed. I have a bed that I can adjust the back to lift me at an angle. I had to lift myself a little just because it was still uncomfortable to lay flat or stand completely straight because of how it pulls on my tummy muscles.
I went to my first endermologie massage today. It hurt quite about, but I felt good after. The tension I was feeling when I stand up straight was gone, so it was worth the pain I guess. And the girl doing my massage says I handled it well because a lot of people cry and try to scoot away from her. This whole process makes me realize I have a very high pain tolerance and I heal well/quickly. I think me working out helped me recover quickly. I also drank bone broth almost everyday my first week following surgery. They say that works wonders. Anyhoo...I'm still very swollen in the belly, but I'm still loving my results. Boobs still not bothering me at all.
