Hi, guys. I'm 4 days post op and everything is going really well. I had a full tummy tuck with liposuction to the abdominal, back, and flanks, and a breast lift with fat transfer to the cleavage and hips. Dr. Walters and his staff are great. He called me the night before and the day after to check on my and i have his cwll number in case i need anything. The pain is real! But it's manageable. Each day gets better as far as what I can do. Day one, I was completely hunched over. I'm still bent over a bit, but much straighter than before. My breast don't really hurt. My tummy incision burns sometimes when I'm getting up, but usually doesn't bother me. The worst part is the liposuction on my back. Oh and the second day I got nauseous and threw up one time. It was horrible. I thought I had popped a stitch because I felt a pop. But I felt good after I threw up and my doctor looked at my stitches and said they were fine. I think I three up because I hadn't had anything solid to eat and I drank pineapple juice which is acidic. I haven't been nauseous any other time.
My stomach and breast are swollen. So I can't gauge how small I will be or what my shape will look like just yet. My left breast looks a little weird to me, so I'm going to ask my doctor about it. He says they still need to drop, so I'm trying to stay confident that I'll love them once they do. It's weird. I feel like I have someone else's breast on my body. I know once I can put in clothes and see the difference in how they fit, I'll be more excited. Right now I'm just in a "wait and see" mode.
I've had really good support from my family. On day 3 I could get out of my recliner by myself, which was good because I have to pee all the time because I drink a ton of water. Thank goodness I bought the pee Eze funnel to help me pee. I also bought a shower chair which was super helpful when I got a sponge bath.
Hopefully I can take more pics at my appt on Thursday. I'd like to see my tummy incision and belly button placement. I'll keep yall posted.

So it's day 5 and I'm doing really well. I was supposed to take my pain meds at 0730 and I was able to hold out until 1100. So that's awesome. I've been getting around really well. Still a little hunched, but straighter than yesterday. I had a headache this morning and off and on since. I'm not sure why. I haven't had a bowel movement yet either. Those are my current pet peeves. One of my drains isn't working. All the fluids leak out of the incision and nothing goes in the drain. The other drain only has 5-10 ml every 5 hours. I'm hoping he will take them out at my appt in 2 days. It'll be one less thing to worry about.
My stomach feels so tight. And I feel like my intestines are trying to get used to having less space since they closed my abdominal muscles. My breast look better and better to me each day. I feel more confident that I'm going to love them once they drop. I can't wait until Thursday. I am so anxious to see how low my incision is and see my belly button placement.

Hi, guys! I'm 7 days post op and I feel good. I rarely take my pain meds. I might go completely without tomorrow. I only took them once today and it was only because I was going to the doctor and was going to be doing quite a bit of walking and getting in and out of the car today. I had my second post op appt and my doctor removed my last two drains and my stitches. I got to finally take the garment off and see my tummy and scar. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm still very swollen and won't see the final results until I'm healed more. But I see where this is going and I like it. I'm a little confused, but happy about how my magician of a doctor did my liposuction and fat transfer. I only have 2 liposuction holes, one on each of my sides. But he liposuctioned my back, stomach, and sides. I'm grateful not to have more scars though. He also added fat to my breast and hips, but I don't have holes for that either. Amazing! My scar is a little wider than I thought it'd be, but I'll get used to that. I got a new garment today. It's the exact same as the fis8t one I had, so I'm not sure if this is what they refer to as the second garment or not. Overall I'm pleased with everything. It'll just take some getting used to this new body.
Oh, my doctor also told me to start walking straight, so I've been trying to stretch that skin and muscles. It's easier now that I've seen the incision, but I can't continuously walk straight. I have to concentrate on it and I look crazy lol. I also recieved the scar gel to put on my scars. Everything seems to be moving so quickly, but I'm so happy I'm healing quickly and with minimal pain.
