Mommy Makeover

Taking into consideration all the information Real Self provides on plastic surgeons, actually selecting one can be an extremely difficult task. Weighing out reviews/credentials/photos coupled with proximity to my location and price was a bit overwhelming. After 3 different consults, I chose Dr. Restifo. This was based solely on my perceived level of his ability to perform a mommy makeover with the best results possible. It was an added bonus that Dr. Restifo and his staff were all very pleasant and easy to work with. However, I still wasn't sure I made the right choice until I was laying in the hospital bed at the surgical center and had a conversation with the nurse. She asked why I had come so far for the procedure (it's a 3.5hr drive) then said Oh your Dr. Restifo's patient, you must be looking for perfection. And... Well... Yes... if you are going to be cutting my body open and reshaping it the answer is yes perfectionist is what I want. Hospital nurses get to see so many doctors in action this was a huge confirmation to me that I chose correctly. 3 1/2 weeks post-op I am more certain than ever that I did just that. As the swelling goes down it reveals more and more just how flat my stomach is! It's surreal looking at the hollow space just under my rib cage and the new contour of my waist. My stretch marks were very high so I knew some would still be present but their overall appearance is vastly improved. My tummy tuck scar line is very neat and clean, plus its positioned so low it's undetectable with underwear on. My breast are still settling into their shape but each week they appear rounder. I was pleasantly surprised to find the vertical scar on my breast was done so well it's almost unnoticeable. Now the two things I am most impressed with. During my research phase, I discovered that the biggest difference between doctors was Nipples and Belly Buttons. Actually, that was a HUGE factor in my decision! I am so happy to report that I love both!! They look well, perfect (to me). I would highly recommend Dr. Restifo.

So underestimated the recovery time!! I feel like it’s a few steps fwd one back type of thing. Getting super tired of sleeping reclined but it’s going to be a while longer... the best part is my results Are finally starting to show!
