My Mommy Makeover Journey Has Begun

4 days after implants
WORTH IT$17,000
So excited to share this post. This has been a long journey for me and I still have 6 more months. I just got my implants on the 12th. Lets just say it didn’t go off without a hitch, but I recovered well.
On Friday, I went in and we got in and out of surgery fairly quick. When I woke up, I started feeling pain and burning in my upper pole region. It was about a 7/10 pain. I tried letting the nurse know this and they scrambled to find something to dull the pain. We tried Demerol in the arm muscle, then the muscle relaxers, then Tramadol. Nothing worked and they sent me home. I kept in contact with Andrea and she called me once I got home. She quickly remembered that Gabapentin worsens my swelling and advised to stop taking it. Then she called in some Percocet. Within an hour after taking the Percocet, I was feeling 100% better. So lesson for everyone reading this...according to Dr. V, some people don’t respond to certain groups of pain killers, which is why one did nothing to touch the pain, and the other worked like a charm. Neither group made me drowsy at all. Guess I am a medical freak of nature...or I drank too much by the pool this summer lol dunno ??????
As far as the initial look of the breasts, I totally freaked out in typical fashion for me. I looked down and my nipples looked like the sorting hat from Harry Potter. My boobs were all torpedo looking and I was having a conniption fit. Andrea and Dr. V got on a call with me to explain the surgery and to calm my crazy ass down. Basically, one breast was a different size/shape than the other. He had to do a mini lift to the right breast so that they looked symmetrical. So the extra swelling on that side was pulling my nipple downwards just a bit. The normal swelling in general, gave the breasts a sort of cone shape.
I am happy to report that since then, it has toned down significantly and I can no longer sort the houses at Hogwart’s. They are healing nicely, but still need to drop a little more on the right side. So far the shape is absolutely beautiful and I hope it stays that way. I will report back around week 3 to give another update, but so far this journey has been everything I would have hoped it be. Love my doctor and the office and love my results!!!

It’s been awhile...let’s take look
Ok so I wanted to wait for awhile before I posted any follow up so y’all could get a good idea how much it’s all changed. As always, my doctor and his wife have been so amazing through this whole process. I try to keep in touch with Andrea throughout the process and she is always ready to answer any concerns I have.
I am scheduling part 2 of the breast reduction/augmentation process. One month and I will get my big breasts back and hopefully they will look exactly how we all hoped. Going today to try the sizers out and figure out which implant to go with. So excited!
The scars are healing very nicely. I will be honest, haven’t used the scar strips much. I tried them, but they are a tad uncomfortable. Everything is already starting to fade on its own and all my scars are nice and flat.
Couple concerns I have are my belly button and the vertical scar with my old belly button ring hole. Probably going to schedule a revision to pull down that vertical scar as much as possible to remove it. May also have him try to fix my half moon looking belly button. It is trying to pop out so it gives it this half moon shape. No biggie though. Considering where I started, I am ecstatic with my results and would never let any other PS work on me but Dr. V!
My BBL results shrank a bit, but the shape is so sexy. I get compliments from girls and guys about my sexy booty, so I am going to have to say “Job well done Dr. V!”
All in all, tremendously happy with everything so far! Hello bikini season!

Swelling is finally starting to let up
Swell Hell is real! It gets to the point where you know when it’s coming on and you know to get more compression and take it easy. Slowly learning my way around my new body.
The scars are still healing nicely. Not much change to report except that the swelling is finally starting to go down significantly. You can see the difference between this week and last week. The belly button is taking its sweet time. They say it’s going to take months for all that to go down, so I need to just be patient. Tried on a couple outfits. Starting to really see the new me. Weight is finally back to normal. Still losing weight without trying, but I assume that probably because I will weigh a little less than before the surgery.
Posting more pics. Probably going to start posing updates every month at this point since the change isn’t significant week to week. I will try to post before and after for my Embrace Scar Therapy. I hear it’s a waste of money and that you get the same results with other silicone scar strips. Guess we shall see lol. Stay posted.

You really look great! Wow! Looks like your butt isn't nearly as swollen, must feel good to wear normal clothes again. I haven't had so much of the swell hell, thank goodness, but I am fighting an entirely different battle now.
I was rushed to the ER a few days ago with unbearable pain on my left side. Turns out I have a kidney stone the size of a marble lodged between my ureter and bladder which has cutoff my kidney from functioning, its basically dead. So now I have to have surgery to remove the stone and the kidney. I already went through emergency surgery to place a stint into the kidney so it could drain. What a nightmare.
I haven't been able to wear my compression garment for days as it gives me terrible acid reflux with all the medication I am on. I hope it doesn't ruin my result. I am just so thankful this happened 2.5 weeks post op, instead of right after surgery. What a disaster.
Sorry not trying to rain on your parade, just feeling really depressed to face such a huge setback. I go in for surgery on the 30th.
Omg Zizi I am so sorry to her that. Was is a complication caused by the MM? I sure hope you recover well from the surgery and at least you don’t have to do that surgery until the 30th. I wonder if there is any medicine they can give you for the acid reflux so you can start wearing your compression garment. I don’t know what I would do without mine. It alleviates a lot of pain for me still, plus it keeps the swell hell at bay. Or maybe you couldn’t a different compression garment. I know that some make a “stage 2” type garment. That might help a little and be less restricting. Gosh girl, I feel for you! Hopefully this isn’t a huge set back and everything will work out fine. I will be thinking of you. Keep me posted!
Zizi you’re in my thoughts I hope everything turns out okay!
Thanks guys for the support. This was a completely isolated incident. The stone has been growing for over a year, I had zero symptoms until ER day. I was cleared for surgery with flying colors! Just a freak incident. I've come to terms with what is happening and I have to take 2 additional months off work. Other than that my MM is healing well. Just a crazy thing, I suppose.
Ps my acid reflux has gone away now, and I'm back in my compression garment 12/12. I don't do much except take small walks and stretches, so my swelling has been manageable, luckily.
Glad to hear you are getting along well. Hope you are able to return to work soon. I know I would be going stir crazy by now. This Friday will be 4 weeks post op and I have been getting around fairly well. I swell up so bad during the day, but found that if I sleep without my compression garment, I actually am able to resolve most swelling by morning. I assume you are doing something similar with the 12/12. At least your MM is healing up nicely ;-) Hope you get to feeling 100% soon!
You are healing great! I’ll be curious to see if that scar therapy works for you. I have been using Mepitac tape that the PS have to me. I do 2 days on and 2 days off. So far it seems to really make a difference in my scar.
Thanks! I am excited to get it started. Still waiting for the rest of my scanning under my breasts to go away. My tummy tuck scar is going to take awhile. May need to hold off until after the scar revision.

Thanks for updating us on your journey. I'm happy to hear recovery went well
