All incisions fully healed

WORTH IT
Many of you guys asked for an update! Well, I LOVE IT HERE! I still have little to no swelling and not having to wear my compression as much. All of my incisions are completely healed and as of now, I’m 5weeks and 3 days post-op. I’m just working on my scars with silicone tape. I will post pics later this week when I change them out. My breast went from a 42H to a 38DD. I lost 10lbs prior to surgery and have lost an additional 10lbs since surgery. ((*I’ve done this purposely with drinking lots of water, dieting, and walking 1-2 miles 3-4 times per week))

By the end of week two, I was able to stand up straight and walk at a slow pace on the treadmill and increased as I tolerated it. Not that Im recommending this to anyone, but its what I did for exercise and movement. Listen to your body! Everyone wont recover the same or as quickly as others. Just listen to your body and DO NOT take off your surgical dressing before your surgeon does at your 1st post-op. Drink plenty water and increase your protein intake prior to your surgery and afterwards. (( Helps with wound healing)) FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF UR SURGEON!!
You look great! Did you take your binder off at all in that first week? In my preop, Adriana mentioned adjusting it if I needed to but I noticed you said don't take anything off. Thank you so much for your update - it is really helpful and comforting
I did to adjust as needed but thats it. I see alot of people on blogs take off their surgical dressing before their post op appt bc they want to see their results, but this is a big NO. Keeps down chances of infection and helps with swelling as well.
Ok got it, yes that makes sense. I don't plan to take it off unless I need to adjust it but it will be going right back on immediately that's for sure. We're you in a lot of pain in those first few days that you can remember?
Yes and I suggest staying on top of your pain meds. For me, days 1-3 were the worst, but bearable.
Sorry to keep asking a million questions but did you take a swimsuit bottom on your surgery day? I see some people take them to be marked up but wasn't sure if Dr. Song even mentions it
No, I didnt. Just wore my regular underwear. He didnt say to wear a swimsuit bottom.
Hi. I just wanted to see if you did any lymphatic massages, and/or what’s Dr. Songs thoughts on them?

Thanks. You look great!
If you don't mind sharing, how much did this cost you?

TT with MR, BR with lift, and lipo to flanks. 3weeks post-op and 95% healed! Little swelling! I love my results. The staff is awesome and very attentive. Dr. Song is very attentive and has great beside manners, as do ALL of his staff. I'm an RN and know what to expect and he, as well as his staff exceeded all of my expectations.
