Six Weeks

ix weeks
At the 5 week mark I decided to get a lymphatic drainage massage (definitely a game changer) for me at least I immediately notice a difference in the swelling as soon as I got up from the table. Post -op care is just as important as pre op care. The massages are a bit pricey but well worth it I didn’t get a package based off of the massage therapist recommendations she was impressed at how well I was healing and the amazing stitch work of Dr.Song she couldn’t even tell or see the incisions around the Areola. I’ll probably get a few more massages over the next couple of months. At six weeks I had my follow-up with Dr.Song I was a little concerned about the way my tt scar felt underneath (it feels raised but you can’t see it with the naked eye if that makes sense) he said that it was scar tissue and suggested that I start massaging the scar to help break it up. Hearing that put me at ease. I no longer have to wear my white binder. My next follow-up appointment is at 6 months and I asked if I could do an in person visit and he said it would be ok.

Updated pictures

Today Makes it 4 weeks and 6 days post-op. Spoke with Dr.Song at three weeks post-op says I can start scar therapy but just waiting for two spots to heal a little more before I start .Dr.Song says a scar cream (Maderma) and paper tape to cover it should help it flatten the incision

Comparison picture

Finally able to post a picture it took me forever but he’s a side by side before and two weeks post op... still have left over stretch marks but that was expected.. the incision is nice and low and everything is healing nicely slowly but nicely
