3.5 weeks post op- massage starts

WORTH IT
Quick update. Healing really well. Had seroma drained again yesterday. Surgeon really happy with how all is healing (As am I)
Another 3 weeks of garments and then will switch to spanks.
Breasts really starting to soften. Bruising and scabbing almost gone. Swelling still in flanks and lower ab. Still taking it easy but been given the ok to be able to lift my daughter (age 2), have a bath (DREAMY) and drive.
Also shown how to start massaging stomach. Advised to use bio oil and rose oil. More pressure on tummy and lighter on breasts for now.

Two weeks post op

Past few weeks have had highs and lows. I’d say mostly highs. Bruising has massively decreased. Have been having a small seroma (build up of fluid) from my tummy removed.Totally painless when it gets drained. My surgeons been amazing. Swelling was at it’s worse a few days ago on my stomach (especially on hips where lipo was). Had a little scabbing and oozing from one nipple but in all healing really well. My mobility is really good. My surgeon really encourages you to not hunch over from the day after surgery and stand as straight as you can and I’m so pleased he said to as I’ve pretty much been straight backed since 2nd day post op and helps with limited back ache etc. Sleep is much better now. Had my dressings and tapes off from 1 week and everything looks so neat. I’ve been getting loads of support from the team at Bella Vou. Just amazing service!!
Showering daily and drying incisions with a cool hair dryer to prevent infection from towel/moving any scabbing etc. Tried on a little crop top after my shower yesterday to see how I look without garments. Really happy still with results. Only real pain I get is in my left hip where I am most swollen from lipo.
Can’t wait to be more active but really trying to rest as much as my sanity can bare.

Recovery- day 5 post op

Where do I start. As you will see from my photo update my surgeon is incredible. He listened to every thing I hated, everything I wanted and made my dreams of getting my body back come true. If you think I’m incredibly swollen, bruised (and super sore) but I’m only 5 days post op and look at the transformation. Just think of the results I will have in 6 months.
I’ve bruised like a peach from the lipo as expected. Breasts it’s more pressure than pain, coughing etc hurts like hell and night times I’m so uncomfortable and restless with bits of nausea. But I honestly couldn’t be happier. I never thought I would love myself again and I already am in love with my new body. If you have any hesitation- go and see Amir at Bella Vou and I’m sure he can make your dreams come true.
The care I had at the McIndoe hospital was amazing and my surgeon came and saw me every morning and evening and fully checked over me. I’m so happy I’m under his care and the care of his team.
I’m being taken great care of at home and not being a hero and taking medication as and when I’m allowed it. Think it’s important to stay on top of the pain.
Praying my nights get better as that’s the only thing I’m really struggling with at the moment
Have my first follow up with both my surgeon and his amazing team on Wednesday to have tapes removed and cleaned up. Have been showering as instructed and drying the tapes with a cool hair dryer. Makes you feel so much more human and nice to have half an hour with the garments off.

How are you doing? Your results look great. Your bruising is a bit worse than mine. Seems like the Arnica gel helps. But i think i just like my husband to out it on. :)
Healing well thank you. Few minor complications but all manageable. Bruising gone down massively in last week but still super swollen
I just said i got kicked by unicorns. :)
Haha amazing
Looking past the temporary bruising, your new shape looks gorgeous! I love your positive attitude!
Thank you. Can’t wait for all the swelling to go and healing to happen. Try to stay positive as anything’s better than how I looked and felt before my op
You look absolutely amazing! I'm after the same surgery myself. Could I ask the cost of your surgeries altogether?
Thank you! £18500 It’s an investment. But makes the biggest change on your life
I don’t know if you still use your account but I just wanted to say your results are amazing.
I’ve chosen this clinic to have my surgery and seeing your results makes me more excited haha. X
