Hat kind of complication
I want to know too, what kind of complication..
I'm considering having a mommy makeover with Dr. Guadalupe Carrillo, you are only the 3rd review I've found and they all say this Doctor is very attentive to her patients and has amazing results. Can you update me on how you are doing and if you have any other complications?
I'm still swollen.i developed what was later determined to be a hematoma and had to get rushed back to the Hospital where i had to stay for three more days and get blood transfusions. I lost all the fat from my BBL except for the top buttshelf. It took them weeks to get m the info about what they put in and how much skin they took off. They didn't take off nearly as-much as was needed, but considering i basically stared hemorrhaging after the surgery i guess it's good they didn't take off more. I still have pain where my drains were, they use HUge drains. They stick them in your hips, not your groin. They're painful and put unnecessary pressure on the fat transfer rhere. I have hip dips because of it. My back and stomach are till swollen. I avoid this app because I'm still in limbo and don't even hVe an accurate "after" to update people with. My body is improved from what it was before, but the results are nothing like i expected or hoped for by this stage. Even on the surgery table my butt had zero projection . I'm also frustrated that the incision line is 1.5 inches higher on one side than the other and the fat hangs lower on one side. I look crooked and uneven and that was not from siting on my butt, that's a front view. The incision healed nicely tho
I'm 5'3 130 lbs with some saggy belly fat, I'm looking to have a Tummy tuck, breast lift w/ small implants. Do you think that having so much done at once contributed to your slower healing? How do you like your boobs? I'm going to follow you on install if that's ok?
I mean Instagram lol
What complications
Love to see how they settled!

Hoping for surgery ASAP

So i was set with another place and due to last minute errors on their part, they cancelled my surgery. I am strongly considering going with Guadalupe Carrillo (medicalmex is the company who i found her through) her qualifications are all amazing, but she literally has no internet presence in regards to her portfolio or reviews. I can't find anything negative about her at all. But i also can't find any pics either. I spoke with the coordinator (excellent office communication) and she explained what i was thinking, that she has been very old school (not digital) in regards to pics and social media, just recently trying to get a online presence. Also, in order to put pics online they must sort through all the files and see which patients agreed to sharing pictures. To me that sounds like a daunting task and i wouldn't want to do it either. I just want to book with confidence. I got a quote a month ago and the date is still available (June 25th)
I'm waiting for the office staff to send me pictures.

Hey girl, did you have your surgery? If you did I hope all went well and you have a smooth recovery. I've been having a hard time trying to decide what surgeon to choose for my mommy makeover. I just want to make sure I'll be in good hands. I live in the Bay Area and I'm also planning on going to TJ for my surgery.
Hi! Yes i did! I'm like 5 days post op right now, I'm so glad i went with this doctor because she's like a full service doctor and the other ones i was going with was like a factory. They just did the same thing over and over and are pretty much done with you the next day. They recommend staying at their recovery facility but dont require it. This lady tho, she included 8 days of recovery in the price so she could keep a close eye. I had complications day and a half after surgery (my first night in the recovery) and it was terrifying. I just kept thinking that if i had gone to vIVe i would be alone in a hotel with my husband who had no idea what to do, since the plan was to stay for the day after my surgery and go back home to recover. I'd literally be dead. That's how bad it was. My blood pressure dropped to 75/40 and i lost my vision, my eyes were wide open and i couldn't see a thing, i was dehydrated and apparently my hemoglobin has dropped from a 9. Something after surgery, to a 6.2 by sat at 5 am. They think it was anemic shock and the numbers had looked better and i passed all my tests and was doing so well they released me to the care facility. But I woke up in clammy sweats feeling weak and knew something was wrong and within seconds or minutes the nurses at the care facility was there. That's when i started to lose vision. They got me stable on an IV until morning when they took me to the ER to meet with my doctor, while in the ER i had been sitting up too long and it started happening again! Long story short 2 blood transfusions later and my hemo went to a 7 and then dropped to a 6.5 but i was also super hydrated (so the hemo was diluted) they gave me another transfusion Sunday night and Monday my results came back at 7.6. So while it was progress they wanted to watch me for another night. I just got my blood drawn again this morning to see if i can go to the recovery center. My lower body lift was a huge success and they removed like 11 lbs of skin and did a lipo fat transfer and i got boobs. But the lower body lift is what made it so dangerous because there's a ton of blood in those 11 lbs so it just makes is risky. Also, i didn't realize just how anemic i actually was. I've always been mildly anemic, but The surgery exacerbated it because of how much skin they had to remove. So it important that not only is your hemoglobin high before surgery, but that your body has no issues regenerating it. It's like mine was low and bad at retaining or making it too. They gave me 2 transfusions before surgery to be safe too!
I'm so sorry that happened to you! I also considered Vive at first since their work looks bomb but after doing some more research I realized that I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my life in their hands. I have two kids and I want to be able to trust the doctor and come home to them. Like you said once you have your surgery it seems they don't really care. I'm definitely going to look into the doctor you went to. I'm glad you're feeling better and I'm sure everything will go smoothly from here on out. You're looking great so far!
