Getting better and better every day! Swelling is significantly down, but it’s still there especially in the evening. I was given the ok to start cardio, so I’ve been doing lots of stair master and spin bike. I’m not able to jog yet, I can really feel it in my abs, and the feet pounding makes my breasts hurt. I’ve started scar gel and massage, hoping to see an improvement in the texture over the next couple weeks!

I really under estimated how bad the recovery would be, but I think I’m finally on the up swing! The last few days I’ve felt like I’ve been hit by a truck. I think I pushed myself too hard around thanksgiving and paid for it. I was able to walk on the treadmill for an hour today and get some chores done around the house, but by noon my back was killing me, and I really needed to rest. I’m trying to listen to my body and not over don’t again.
