3.5 Month update

3.5 months update! Super happy with my tummy, just waiting on the scar to fade! I still get some pretty dramatic swelling if I eat too much salt, but really happy with ab definition already! I have developed a seroma in my right breast, which doesn't hurt at all, it just looks like big lump! I decided to get new breast implants to restore fullness in my breasts after having the explant and lift. After 10+ years of very fake looking boobies, I'm not happy with my natural, lifted look. SO I'll be getting somewhere between 350-450 ccs next week! So Dr. White is going to address the seroma during that surgery and hopefully get it all fixed up. I'll update after my next surgery!

Forgot to add before photos

I forgot to post the before photos for reference. These are the day before surgery. It looks like I had a huge belly, but it was all just stretched out/torn muscle. So grateful Dr White was able to sew it back together! I look like I've lost about 50lbs but my weight is only about 5lbs different.

Dr White is Amazing!

Hi ladies! I have been thinking about getting a Mommy make over for about a year now (I had a 10 lb baby followed very quickly by two 7 lb twins, causing my already weakened abdominal wall to stretch and tear apart even more. I had about a 4 inch diastasis recti that I needed sewn back together and some loose skin. I also originally wanted my breast implants (from 2012) removed, breasts lifted and then new, smaller implants put in, but I will need to wait until my breasts fully heal before getting the new implants.
Anyways, Dr. White had been all around amazing. He is a wonderful human being who puts you at ease right away. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and listens to every concern. He even gives out his personal cell phone number if you have any questions post-op. I had some complications with my drain and having very thin skin that he wanted to monitor, and he even drove about 45 minutes to meet me when I had a clogged drain causing swelling and pain. He was even able to save my belly button which is great since it was completely blown out by my twins. It looks a little odd right now but we can revisit it's appearance when I'm fully healed.
Week 1 wasn't bad at all, I just felt very tight and sore and it's not easy being so helpless when you're used to doing a million things a day. You will definitely need help with kids and house stuff, you can't do anything!
Week two was much more painful for me. I don't know if this is because the pain medication stopped or if it's because I had so much extra swelling from my clogged drain, but it was very painful. My thin piece of skin was red and angry at being stretched so far, adding the swelling made it even more red and angry. Dr White decided to remove the drain at around 10 days since it was pretty clogged up, and to open up a couple stitches to create a drain hole in the middle of my incision. I immediately felt a ton of relief and have been feeling great since then. I am just past two weeks post op now and I feel pretty good. I have resumed taking care of my babies on my own and can live pretty normally. I am even starting to see some abs poke through.
The breast removal and lift was super easy recovery wise, I barely even noticed them with all of the abdomen pain. They are healing really well and I love how perky they are! I might not end up getting new implants after all, but we will see in about a year how they look!
