Dr Purzycki Changed my Life!

I've been saying I was going to write this review for a six months now and I’m finally getting around doing it. It’s probably going to be long. The only reason it’s taken me this long to write it is because it’s hard to boil down my thoughts and appreciation for Dr Purzycki into a short, manageable review. There’s just so many good things to say about him!

I will start with he wasn’t even on my radar for surgeons. Never even heard of him. I had a consult with another well-known surgeon in the area. That went well, and I got on his books. But by the time my day came, that surgeon backed out due to my complicated medical history, and recommended Dr Purzycki. I was heartbroken. You know when you get your mind set on something, that’s what you want. Then I go online and I can’t really find anything about him and at first, I felt a little uncomfortable because I was comparing him to a surgeon that had pages and pages of online review reviews to look through. That’s why I don’t mind leaving a long review. Dr Purzycki is worth every word that I’m about to say.

So I made a tearful call to his office and leave a long rambling message on their voicemail letting them know what happened and that I’d like to schedule a consult. Despite it being almost closing time leading into a long holiday weekend, they called me right back and got me scheduled for a consult and reassured me that everything was going to be OK.

I come in for my consult and meet Dr Purzycki. The first thing I noticed is his absolutely sweet persona. He’s not some cocky plastic surgeon that’s gonna talk down to you or rush you out the door. It felt like I was meeting a new friend for the first time. I felt very comfortable during that consult. His nurse Linda was there and she’s amazing too. My consult was not rushed at all. My gosh, I think we spent almost 2 hours in there talking about my goals, my medical history, looking at goal photos, taking pictures. My last consult, in contrast, wasn’t even 45 minutes, no measurements taken, felt very assembly line. Don’t get me wrong. The first guy was nice, but there was no comparison!

It went so well that I decided to book with him. I had looked for his name in the various groups on social media, and reached out to former patients of his to get an idea of what kind of person he was and how he was to work with. How he might handle complications or revisions. Everybody that I spoke to absolutely loved him. The photos that were shared with me were astonishing. He clearly knows how to do belly buttons!

When my big day came, everything went well. He was done in about four hours. I had an anchor breast lift with under the muscle silicone implants along with a fleur de lis extended tummy tuck with muscle repair. Before I left, we were given his direct cell phone number and told to contact him with any concerns or questions, no matter the time of day or night. He was very responsive throughout my recovery.

I had somewhat of a self induced complication the night of surgery and he was quick to respond. Rather than blow it off as a normal situation, he told me to get to the hospital where he would be waiting. We got there and he was ready to take me back into the OR to address the situation. He got me stabilized and I spent the day in the hospital. This was all at about 4:00 in the morning. After he took care of my situation, he had a regular workday to contend with. Despite that he still came and physically checked on me before the start of his workday and then again before he went home in the evening. He was more attentive than any other physician I’ve ever dealt with in the hospital. I’m just blown away.

My recovery after that was as easy as can be. Way easier than I expected. I joked and said maybe I got all the hardships of a nasty recovery out of the way with my little emergency the night of surgery. LOL regardless of the ease of my recovery, Dr Purzycki checked in on me multiple times throughout the weeks and months ahead. I see him at all my follow up visits and never feel rushed out the door. He’s just incredible!

He's very generous with revisions and things of that nature. Let’s face it, when you have lost a massive amount of weight, sometimes you might have to come back in for a little touch up after the swelling and such subsides. Where most practices will make you pay to come in and have a dog ear removed or a little bit of lipo here or there or whatever, Dr Purzycki doesn’t. If it’s something that he can take care of under local, he just tells you to come on in and he takes care of it. If you need to be put under general anesthesia, of course you’ve got to pay for the anesthesia, but most things can be taken care of with local anesthesia at no cost.

He also gives a very generous package of discounts and such for use in their Medspa. And I do mean very generous!

Dr. Purzycki is so awesome that I wish he could take care of all of my medical needs. He's hands down the most amazing medical professional I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He's changed my life and best of all, he doesn't even take credit for it. Says I did all the hard work.

Don't miss out on this hidden gem of a surgeon.
