Very Disappointing Results

I am 55 and I have lost 3 stone over the past 3 years with proper diet & exercise. But due to a C section years ago, I still had a tummy overhang. So I decided to have breast reduction/uplift and a tummy tuck with 360 lipo.
Research led me to Dr Kacmaz whose reviews and before & after pictures were excellent. Initial contact was very friendly and encouraging and I booked my spot.
I was initially traveling with my daughter, but she could not travel due to illness and I had to go alone. I honestly wouldn't advise this as it is extremely difficult to manage alone, particularly the journey home, in pain and hunched over.
Airport transfers and hotel are very good and Dr Kacmaz team are very nice and very helpful. On the morning of surgery, contracts were hastily signed without a chance to read them and then I had the doctors examination.
Surgery went ok and I was in hospital for 2 nights. The hospital is not great. Night staff are not helpful at all, the nurse turned my emergency button off and I couldn't get help to get out off bed. Food is also not good.
I had 2 drains in my pubic area and was wearing compression garments. Drains were whipped out rather painfully on day 2 by surgical nurse before I was transferred to the hotel. Blood streamed from the drain holes for 4 days and when I asked Melanie what to do, she told me to get sanitary pads, which Emrah brought to the hotel as I couldn't move.
I was totally hunched over and could not straighten up (this lasted 4 weeks). The pain was manageable with the painkillers provided by the doctor who also provides a course of antibiotics. I should add my breasts were not sore at all, just the TT.
I had no visits from doctor or nurse at hotel and only saw them when I expressed concern about oozing from my breast. I was taken to the doctor and reassured this was normal.
I was swollen up like a balloon for about 4 days and had difficulty breathing in the compression garments.
My after pics by the doctor were taken the day before I left and honestly they must be horrendous due to the swelling & bruising which was bad. The flight home was awful, it was so hard to walk and manœuvre airports with no help.
It's been 5 weeks now and I can honestly say I am very disappointed with the results. My breasts are fine, they are smaller and look ok but I have a hole (dehiscence) at the T-junction of my scar beneath my left breast which just won't heal or close so I'm constantly looking after that.
TT scar also opened a bit but I treated it with medi honey which totally closed it. However it is an ugly scar with rippling.
As to my tummy tuck and lipo now, well it doesn't look much different to before I went. I am not convinced I had 360 lipo on my tummy as there were no cannula wounds. My tummy is still large & fat and has a longer overhang now over the TT scar, which is really disappointing. I also have a deep crease if I lean over which appears to be loose skin. I have worn my compression garments from day one and continue to wear them.
I never lost a single pound with the procedures. I know it's not a weight loss procedure but you would think with breast reduction, lipo and TT that you might lose 1 or 2 pounds, but I haven't.
I do realise it's early days but fat and loose skin aren't going to magically disappear in a few months. I expected them to be sorted with surgery, not still there after surgery.
I contacted Melanie who says I should be ok if I lose weight! Can you believe that!
There is NO aftercare from the doctor, and UNLESS you contact Melanie, you do not hear from anyone. Everyone is very nice before you arrive and when you are there, but afterwards, nothing.
You can judge for yourselves. I spent over £6000 including flights and I can honestly say it wasn't worth it.

I have been to dr caner kacmaz for three separate procedures. The first went well, breast reduction and uplift, no problems at all and I was pleased with the results. Went back for a tummy tuck, again, I was happy with the results, despite having two problems, the wound opened and wept on and off for about two months plus a calcified lump in my abdomen.. These issues were sorted out by him on my third visit, I decided to have a tipoplasty performed by him and also a forehead lift. I requested that it be performed in the centre of my brow, the doctor told me that he would not do that, but would do it from the temples. Went ahead and had it done. Nose was not right at all. I had requested that the nostrils be shortened and was told that it would be done. The nostrils looked worse afterwards, they were in a different position but actually looked larger than they had been pre-surgery. Issues with the temple lift, lumps and swellings that refused to abate. Melanie was brilliant, she sent me steroids to help the problem and kept in touch on a regular basis. Doctor agreed to do revision surgery on my nose, as both nostrils were different shapes and sizes and looked very odd and wrong. Went back, Melanie was no longer working with him and it was not the same at all. She was the jewel in his crown and organised everything perfectly. The other staff members were very nice but Melanie had made it all so easy and streamlined. He did the revision, sorted out the problem with the nostrils being at odds with each other, but not how long they looked. He drained the lump on my temple but told me that it would come back, which it has. I did not have any lumps at all before the surgery, the lump is not that big now and my hair, thankfully, covers it. The forehead lift does not look any different from what it was pre-surgery and I am not happy with the nose but I am stuck with it now. Those two procedures were a complete waste of money. Also, re what the OP stated about the nursing staff,some were okay but others were down-right hostile and rough. The cleaner was the nicest person there, a lovely caring lady. After I had my nose surgery done, I had a massive bruise and swelling inside my top lip and my front crown had been chipped at the top - not good. It must have been done when they were taking the breathing tube out. I don't know what happened with my third lot of surgery, it was as if a different person had performed it, and I know that that is not the case. Disappo

Sorry to hear you had such a hard time with your surgery, I also found some if the hospital staff very rough, just did not like the hospital full stop. Surprised also to hear Melanie has left Dr Caner. Although, I guess she is the one who had to deal with any complaints etc, and that can't be fun.
I have just put it behind me and got on with life, can't afford to fix the ugly scar or have anymore surgery.
I have lost a further 1 stone in weight and it still doesn't look good, in fact, my belly button now looks long, rather than round as before, just not right. You live and learn. Still wouldn't recommend him though. Hope you feel better soon and have a successful outcome

Tummy tuck is not good. Paid £5420 for TT, 360 lipo and breast reduction.
The 2 stars are for my breast reduction. Breasts are fine and had no pain at all there (apart from hole at wound site which has taken 2 months to heal).
Lipo a total waste of money as he didn't do front and and said he couldn't do much at back due to loose skin.
So my TT is not good. I had overhang from old CC scar, now I have an even longer overhang, I am still fat at front and there is a large pleat down centre of tum when I lean over.
I am no thinner and no lighter in weight.
There is NO aftercare UNLESS you contact them and they give a very brief reply.
I would definitely not recommend.
I think most of the good reviews must be fake as I am now starting to see bad reviews.
I spent £6000 including flights and my results are extremely disappointing. I could write loads more but basically, don't use them.

You're very welcome. I am 12 weeks post op and very disappointed . My TT looks bad with an overhang which really upsets me as this was my primary reason for doing this major procedure. Please look elsewhere, I wish I had, as this has been a waste of my time and money. Don't throw yours away.

It actually looked better before. This is the sort of rubbish that happens when we don't look after our bodies and over eat guys. Take care of yourselves
Had I known this beforehand I would have continued dieting and had the procedures at a later date.
Why couldn't the surgeon tell me this at my initial examination or when I sent the pictures?? There's no way I would have had the op had I been made aware of this.
As it is now, if I lose more weight, I will probably end up with more loose skin to the tummy area and I will require TT revision.
Please be aware of this people. Some doctors are only interested in the payment, not in the outcome for the patient. There is absolutely no way I would put myself through that for this very poor result.
