The Best Decision I Have Ever Made with the Best Surgeon in the World!

Cannot believe how amazing my tummy is!! I am not really as swollen as I was, definitely still drinking loads of water and trying my best to avoid low sodium food. I find if I have ate too much I feel swollen and need to tighten my binder a bit more then usual and the swelling goes down. I have been giving myself two hours off my binder a day which really helps !

I have been tossing up over 11 years about a mummy makeover. I made a few calls and spoke to a few different surgeons. The moment I spoke to Dr Alex Phoon and his staff I knew immediately I could stop looking and found “the one”.
The process was smoother then any process I have been through, the beautiful ladies at the clinic were so quick to respond to any question I had no matter how silly!
I had an initial phone conversation with Dr Phoon, which felt like I was having a chat with an old friend from way back. The consult was friendly, fun and Dr Phoon answered all my questions!
I then knew I was going ahead with the surgery as I knew I was in safe hands.
Within 3 hours, I had my surgery booked and an admission date!
Due to covid I ended up getting an earlier date which was amazing !!
The week before I went for my pre op appointment and met Dr Phoon and his staff in person. Measurements were taken and the whole consult ran perfectly smooth!
Leading up to surgery, the beautiful ladies continues to send me all pre and post op information I needed and remained in contact with me. It was so nice that they were just as excited for my journey like I was!
Surgery day, I was a basket of nerves going into the hospital as restrictions didn’t allow a support person but the moment I walked in, I was well looked after my hospital staff and Dr Phoon’s assistants and also the man himself!!
Waking up from the procedure, I remember not being in pain and having a nurse next to me ensuring I was ok. I had some dinner and fell back asleep.
The next morning, Dr Phoon came to see me and sat me up and showed me my new image. I remember saying “oh my god my boobs are massive, please tell me they come down”. We had a laugh and Dr Phoon explained how they were swollen and that of course they come down. Dr Phoon also explained to me that he placed the implants in that we had decided on originally however they looked too big and he knew I would not like them so he went smaller. I am ever so grateful that Dr Phoon did this, he knew I didn’t want to look fake and made the best decision for me when I couldn’t!
The rest of hospital experience was amazing, I had one drain which was removed on day of discharge, I was up walking around hunched over but feeling good. Dr Phoon visited me every day to make sure I was doing ok!
The first week was probably the worst of the pain, the second I was feeling so much better except slight swelling. I am able to do most daily activities (except lifting heavy or doing strenuous activities) and I feel like a million dollars! I am 3 weeks post op on Friday, I will continue to update my results. I think they are absolutely amazing and it’s all credit to the amazing Dr Alex Phoon. It’s changed my life already !!!
