Best Decision I've Ever Made. Dr. Gaines and His Staff is Awesome!
I've researched many drs. near me looked at photos and reviews and decided that I wanted to do a consult with Dr. Gaines in Gainesville, Fl. I figured I would have to do a couple of consults with different drs. But decided to start with him since he had such good reviews and photos. My husband came with me and was there every step of the way. We both felt Dr. Gaines was awesome!
The atmosphere of his office was perfect and his staff was more than expected! He spent so much time with us explaining things and listening to our concerns that we had made an appointment to do the mommy makeover before we left. I had my surgery on 1/29/2020 and really haven't had much to complain about except for boredom! I used the pain pills prescribed by the Dr. for the first few days then cut them in half for a day and I am currently taking Tylenol just in case.
The only thing that really hurt so far through the whole process is my back from having to be bent over for so long. We were given phone numbers for Dr. Gaines if we needed him 24/7. His bedside manner is the best and he truly cares about his patients. It's only been 5 days since surgery and I am still very puffy but I know I will start to see results really soon.

1 week since surgery
#1....I found out colace is my best friend, I was so nervous about going number 2 and the pain that would come with it. Take the colace, that's all I can say. Lol
#2..... sucks not sleeping in my own bed but I made the recliner so comfy that it's actually not that bad. I put a foam egg crate pad down, covered it with a twin sheet and have a body pillow on each side of me, a regular pillow under my legs and one on my belly. See photo...
#3..... your mind does start playing with you. I've read where people have their moments of why did I do this, well mine came yesterday, only because I've been cooped up so long. My pain has been minimal and I am starting to see swelling go down. So that has made me see the light and realize it's only one moment for something that will make me happy in the long run.
I will post more pics after getting my shower tonight. Hang in there, you've got this!!
